October 20 is going to be one hell of a day for PlayStation owners, as the highly anticipated Spider-Man 2 will swing into action. This time, Peter and Miles will team up as they attempt to take down Venom, while in turn being hunted by Kraven the Hunter. We’ll also get to see Peter get new powers and a whole lot of attitude thanks to the Symbiote suit.

However, if you still haven’t bought your PS5, Sony hasannouncedthat a PS5 Spider-Man 2 bundle will also launch on October 30. This is different from theSpecial Edition PS5 Bundle, which comes with special decals for the game. It will be a standard PS5 bundled along with a copy of the game.

If you’ve been holding off on buying a PS5, this bundle would be a great way to not only get the console, but also one of the most anticipated games of the year. If you already have a PS5 though, you can use ourpre-order guide for Spider-Man 2to check out all the different editions and what all you’ll get with them.

In ourpreview for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Features Lead Jade King said, “Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the sequel I expected, but for once that’s a good thing. The first game was one of the strongest comic book stories in recent memory with gameplay to match, and Insomiac is only taking that further with more heart, more action, and more ambition.

“I just hope it’s able to triumph over old open world clichés and repetitive bouts of gameplay to become the follow-up we’ve all been waiting for.”

While the game will undoubtedly do very well, it seems thatMarvel isn’t too pleased with the performances of its other video game titleslike Midnight Suns and Guardians of the Galaxy. According to comic book scooper CanWeGetSomeToast, “Marvel is PAINFULLY aware of how their video games division hasn’t been reaching its potential overall.

“There have been whispers of an internal shift for Marvel to focus on games. The new EA Black Panther and Iron Man games will be the start of a push for something BIG.”
