Here are a few tips to keep in mind before jumping into your first match.

Stay With Your Team
Thechances areslim that you’ll survive on your ownagainst a team of three heroes, even with Plus Ultra. Sticking close to your team makesany battle a fair fightwhere you can work together to bring down opponents.
When your team encounters an enemy team, focus on taking down anySupport and Rapid typesyou encounter. These heroes often have Special Actions thatallow them to rescue downed allies.Defeating these enemies ensures there is no escape for your opponents.

Focus On Looting In The Beginning
At the start of a match, you’ll only have125 GPand allyourQuirk Skills will be level one.To stand a chance against your opponents, stock up onrestorative itemsandupgrade your Quirk Skills.
Upgrading your abilities in the early game gives you the chance towipe out any weak teamsthat haven’t been looting.

Lookout forItem Bagsto increase your inventory space. Small item bags increase your inventory by three, medium item bags increase your inventory by six, andlarge item bags increase your inventory by nine.
In the late game, havingmaxed out Quirk Skills and Recovery Drinksis necessary to be on the same playing field as your enemies. If your teammates are low on HP or GP, be sure todrop your leftover itemsand ping their location.

Experiment With Your Quirk Skills
Once an enemy’sguard is broken, you can use Quirk Skills and melee attacks in conjunctionto keep an enemy flinchinguntil they are knocked down.
A strong combocan keep an enemy immobileuntil your attacks are finished. Practice in thetraining modeto learn which skills combo together for the character you play.

You should alsoexplore the other applicationsfor your skills. For example, Izuku Midoriya’s Blackwhip can be used to pull in enemies from a distance and swing from buildings. If you can’t learn combos, insteadlearn how to use your skills to rescue alliesand make hasty escapes.
Learn Each Role
Each character is assigned a different role whichinfluences the buff that character provides. There are five different roles:Assault, Strike, Rapid, Support, and Technical.
Each character also has their own set ofSpecial Actions. While not directly linked, A character’s role often dictates whether their Special Action will bedefensive or offensive.

Assault types give your entire team aDefense boost, Strike types offer anAttack boost, Rapid types grant aSpeed boost, Support types boost theeffect of Recovery Items, and Technical types improve thereload speed of attacks.
Multiple heroes with the same role on the same team willamplify the effectsof their stat boosts.

Look Before You Leap
While it may be tempting to go ambush your opponents, you’ll be swiftly defeated if you’re ill prepared. Before engaging with an enemy, fully restore your HP and GP, wait for any skills that are on cooldown, andmake sure your team is attacking with you.
You should alsocheck what items you have in reservesfor use after the fight. Another team can easily swoop in and take advantage of your weakness, be sure toheal up immediately after engaging with an enemy. It’s best torun awaythan to try and take on a team that’s fully prepared to finish you off.
Finish Off Downed Enemies
When an enemy is knocked down, they can be revived andwill recover on their own after 20 seconds. While you’re able to use Finishing Attacks to instantly kill an enemy, thelengthy attack animation leaves you exposed.
You should instead eliminate downed enemies withmelee attacks or Quirk Skills.Only use Finishing Attacks whenthe coast is clearand your teammates are close by.
If you initiate a Finishing Attack and enemies start to appear, jump to cancel the attack animation.
Wait Before Activating Plus Ultra
Plus Ultra is a powerful tool for turning the tide, but it should only be used when you’re on your last legs. When activated, Plus Ultra willmax out your Quirk Skills andrefill your HP and GP.
Use Plus Ultrawhen your HP is running lowto essentially gain another bar of HP for free.
Your Plus Ultra meter willconstantly fillduring a match. This meter builds fasterwhenever you’re attacked.
Be aware that while Plus Ultra will make you powerful, it isstill difficult to wipe out a whole teamon your own. Plus Ultra isbest utilized when your team is organizedand ready to strike back.
