Spider-Man 2’s director, Bryan Intihar, has acknowledged that Sandman’s inclusion in the sequel is a bit of a plothole thanks to a collectible that could be found in the first game. Despite being packed full of surprising moments, one of the biggest surprises in Spider-Man 2 can actually be found in the first five minutes of the game -the boss battle against Sandman. Not only is it a shock that Insomniac managed to keep Sandman’s inclusion hidden up until launch, but it’s a little bit confusing for anyone who took the time to collect all of Peter Parker’s backpacks in 2018’s Spider-Man....
