Magic: The Gatheringwill be retiring Draft and Set boosters next year in an attempt to streamline its product lineup, with a new ‘Play booster’ set to debut in its place. Intended to combine the made-for-limited-play function of Draft boosters with the fancy art treatments and List reprints of a Set booster, Play boosters will radically change how people collect, play, and most importantly purchase MTG. Play boosters will come with 14 cards which, while being two more cards than a Set booster, is one less than a draft....

Like past games in the series,Mortal Kombat 1has weekly and daily challenges. Completing these gets you in-game currency, and completing a set number earns you a cosmetic. In the first week of early access, these challenges rewarded players with a Li Mei skin, but due to bugged progression, not everyone earned it. The objectives were pretty simple, like block 20 times or connect 50 uppercuts. Unfortunately, the challenges didn’t track properly....

Xboxseems to have accidentally confirmed Omni-Man’s early access release date via theMortal Kombat 1store page, which reveals that he’s coming on November 6. Despite Omni-Man getting a detailed reveal trailer at New York Comic-Con a few weeks ago, NetherRealm has been surprisingly cagey about when Nolan, and the rest of the first Kombat Pack combatants are going to be arriving,only giving us vague release windows for most of them. As the first new character coming to the game, Omni-Man got the most concrete release window and was said to be coming at some point in November and, thanks to Xbox, we might have just found out exactly when....

Fans are flocking to the originalCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, as it outsells its glossy reboot on Xbox platforms. That is according to UK sales charts, with the 2009 game shooting to fifth place, ahead of more recent titles likeDiablo 4,Hogwarts Legacy, and of course, the 2022 release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
