In the newSuper Mario Bros. WonderDirect, we got a glimpse ata whole bunch of elephant-ified characters. Daisy, Peach, Luigi, and even Toad are putting on their trunks and crushing everything in their path. Then there’s Yoshi. Poor, poor Yoshi. We didn’t see an elephant version of our favourite green friend, but we did see Elephant Mario jump on their back and proceed to crush it under his weight like Bane cracking Batman’s spine over his knee....

It’s safe to say thatArmored Core 6is officially a hit, and this new title has propelled the series to greater heights. While the game itself is fantastic in its own rights, it definitely wouldn’t be so successful had developer FromSoftware not significantly improved its reputation with genre defining titles like the Dark Souls series, Bloodborne, and Elden Ring. It’s thanks to this air of prestige surrounding FromSoftware that Armored Core 6 has done so well, and it sounds like it’s going be a big boon for the series going forward....

Cyberpunk 2077upcoming expansion, Phantom Liberty, just got another trailer at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live showcase. The Gamescom appearance also confirmed a version 2.0 update, which will add a bunch of combat overhauls for all players on current-gen consoles, without having to purchase the DLC. This trailer gives us another look at the huge update’s gameplay, which will be available to demo at Gamescom over the week. It will be the same preview that’s currently on tour around the world, which has beenmet with a positive reception so far....

The 2010 modern classicRed Dead Redemptionis now available on Nintendo Switch and PS4, allowing people who aren’t on the Xbox platform more easy access to this great title. These new versions don’t include the multiplayer, which means the PS4 port doesn’t have any multiplayer trophies.
