PDP unveiled a range of controllers earlier this yearwith miniature versions of various characters in the handle.Sonic and other characters from the series were the first to be encased in plastic, starting with the blue blur, and pre-orders for Tails and Knuckles controllers have followed suit.Pikmin was the next series to get the Realmz treatment, a tiny redPikminin the handle that’s probably close to actual size. Now the previously promisedTransformerscontroller is up for pre-order.
Optimus Prime is naturally the Transformer that has been picked to sit inside the handle of the new Realmz controller. This latest addition to the collection is a little different from the ones that have come before it as it doesn’t feature Prime’s entire body. In defense of PDP and Hasbro, Optimus is a little bigger than the other characters to be featured in the collection so far. For this controller, just Prime’s head has been encased in the handle.

The controller is wired and compatible withNintendo Switch, although PDP has made someXboxones for the collection too. Retailing at $39.99, which is actually pretty great for a current-gen controller, the Realmz Transformer controller is currently available to pre-order through theAmazonandGameStoplinks below. The controller is set to ship on November 30, so not too long to wait, and a perfect gift for the Transformers fan in your life this holiday season.

A controller with a little Optimus Prime face trapped in the handle is cool and all, but that’s not what everyone wants to hold when they’re gaming.Nacon recently opened pre-orders for its Revolution Pro 5 controller, compatible withPS5,PS4, andPC. No, you’re able to’t put a Pikmin in it, but its customization options include being able to open up the handles and put weights inside - all of which are included - depending on how heavy you like your controller to feel.
