Amazon’s Big Deal Days event is finally here. Not quite Prime Day, not quite Black Friday, but still a two-day stretch during which anyone with a Prime subscription can save a lot of money on some pretty great stuff. That great stuff includes video games, and there has never been a better time to expand yourPS5library. The consoles themselves are easier to find than ever before, so if you’ve finally managed to bag one,Amazonhas a selection of heavily reduced exclusives that are essential additions to your collection.
There are nine PS5 games to choose from in total, and a couple ofPS4games thrown in for good measure, some of which have had their prices slashed by more than 50 percent. The games with the heaviest discounts are the ones currently being sold for $30 that usually retail for $70. Among them areGhost of Tsushima,Returnal, andRatchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Those last two are arguably the PS5 games that have made the best use of the console’sDualSenseto date, so a steal for $30 based on that alone.
While not quite as heavily discounted, there are a few otherPS5 games in Amazon’s Big Deal Days eventthat are absolute must-haves for anyone who owns the console. The Ultimate Edition ofSpider-Man: Miles Morales, which also includes the PS5 version ofMarvel’s Spider-Man, is 44 percent off. That’s $39 for two fantastic games, just in time for the arrival of their sequel on October 20.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a spin-off sequel to Insomniac Games' popular game, and was a launch title for the PlayStation 5 in 2020. Featuring the same open world and gameplay as its big sibling, you must fill in for Peter Parker as New York City’s crime-fighting hero.
Speaking of preparing for sequels,The Last Of Us Part 1, the iconic game’s PS5 remake, has also been included in the sale. There are rumors abound thatThe Last Of Us Part 2 will not only be getting a remaster on PS5, but that it will soon be added to the PlayStation Extra library. If you’ve never played Part 1, or you’d like a refresher that looks better than the game has ever looked before, you can pick up a copy right now for $46 on Amazon, down from $70.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart brings the third-person shooter series to next-gen consoles, featuring a unique, world-hopping mechanic. In it, you play the heroic duo as they search for Ratchet’s missing family.
That’s still not all.God of War Ragnarok, the Game of the Year contender which is still less than a year old, is down to $50 on PS5, and the PS4 version is just $40. Probably one of the lastPlayStationexclusives that will get versions for this current generation and the last one. If you like the look of any of these deals, don’t hang around. Even if the stock doesn’t sell out, deals will be rotated pretty regularly over the course of the two-day event. Think about it for too long and you might miss out.
