One gun that’s been catching everyone’s eye is the Plasma Cutter. Many want to know how to get their hands on this special Long Gun because it brings back memories of the Beam Rifle from the first game, Remnant from the Ashes.
Where To Find The Plasma Cutter
The first step that you need to do before trying to get the Plasma Cutter is tolocate and find theNavigator’s Helm. This head armor isnecessary for your next location.
During your time inN’Erud, you need to findTitan’s Reach. This can randomly spawn in eitherThe Eon VaultorTimeless Horizon.
Titan’s Reach can be easily recognized bya big crashed spaceship from afar.
Near the Titan’s Reach checkpoint, you’ll seea broken doorthat will allow you to get inside the crashed spaceship to theNavigation Room.
Head inside, and you will noticea door with a red scanner.
The only way to unlock this door is byequipping Navigator’s Helm and waiting to be scanned.
Doing so will open the door, and in front of you, you will be able topick up the Plasma Cutter.
Plasma Cutter Overview
ThePlasma Cutteris aspecial Long Gun that shoots energy beams.
It’s most effectiveat close range, where it can fire energy beams thatdeal high damage to a focused target, especially in boss fights. This results indepleting enemies' health bars quickly.
Since the Plasma Cutter is a beam weapon, youdon’t need to worry about recoil. Additionally, the unique weapon Mod,Heat Sink, helps manage the Plasma Cutter’s heat.
It opens the heat vents,reducing heat generation by 50 percentandincreasing damage potential up to three times that lasts for 20 seconds.
The Plasma Cutteroverheatsif the Heat Sink Mod is turned off.
All in all, the Plasma Cutter is aversatile weapon with strong damageand a useful modification. However,its range is somewhat limited, which might be a drawback for some.
