Getting to know the people inStarfieldis a great way to find new quests and earn credits to fund your exploration. You can choose the role you play and how you interact with people to make the most of your adventure, whether you’re a standup citizen or a crusading space pirate.
Sometimes, you’ll have to make tough choices, and other times you can get away with a few under-the-table deals to resolve matters. Places like The Well have a lot of problems, but it’s nothing a handful of credits can’t handle. You’ll have the opportunity to stop a crime yourself.
How To Start Suspicious Activities
Head down to The Wellandspeak to Theresain Kay’s House. She’s noticed a couple of customers who regularly visit the balcony and watch the UC Surplus. Your job is toinvestigate what’s going on.
Before going to the UC Security office toreport the suspicious customers, Theresa wants you toinvestigate them first.
Where To Find The Thieves
When youexit Kay’s House, make a left andround the corner. You’ll spot two people talking. Stay nearby but out of sight toeavesdrop on the conversation.
From the sound of it, the heist is going down tonight.Report back to Theresawith your findings.
You can confront Isaac after his conversation with Louis, but it won’t get you anywhere.
When you tell Theresa she was right, she instructs you toreport the crime to Officer Endler. She doesn’t want you to create more violence in The Well when those two thieves haven’t technically done anything wrong yet, but that decision’s not up to her.
How To Deal With The Thieves In The Well
You have a choice before you:report the thievesto Officer Endler orconfront them yourself. After all, the crime hasn’t happened yet, and you canearn a few extra creditsfor yourself in the process. However, things canquickly get messy.
Reporting The Thieves
Do as Theresa asks andreport the crime to Officer Endlerat the UC Security Station in The Well. He won’t believe you at first, buttell him Theresa sent you. He’ll offer to handle it personally and send you back to Theresa.
When you do, Theresa’s mind is at ease, andyou’ll earn 3,300 creditsfor helping out.
Confronting The Thieves
Sometimes it pays toskirt around the lawin Starfield. You can alternatively approach Isaac tohandle things yourself. Doing so presents the following options:
To avoid getting a bounty and alerting the authorities, bring a follower. They can fire on Isaac and Louis without consequence.
Youwon’t be able to double-cross anyoneonce you make your choice. Thedialogues with Officer Endler and Isaac are unavailableafter deciding.
