Every Experience Source In Spider-Man 2

To keep things simple, we’ll cover every known source of experience points, beginning with the most obvious:completing story missions. You netmore experience in one burst from story missions than anything else, meaning there will be an appreciable rise in your level bar every time you finish something up. Just in case it isn’t clear, by the way, story missions are those named quests that advance the narrative.

From nearly the beginning, you’ll get pings of crime on your app, courtesy of Miles' friend Ganke His invention was one of Spider-Man: Miles Morales' more innovative additions to the core gameplay loop, and it’s even better with the PS5’s haptic controls more fully realized.

Both Miles and Peter can respond to these requests, and while some aremore in-depth and full-fledged side quests, which will inevitably net more experience, the bulk is sort of a ‘radiant quest system’ involving getaway vehicles, citizen hold-ups, robberies in progress - basically the day-to-day Spider-man stuff our heroes are usually wrapping upbeforethe plot kicks up in any given comic issue.

If you linger in a district, and the story hasn’t cut off the app functionality temporarily (say, while you’re chasing a helicopter or what-have-you), you’ll get routine pings. Not only do the app missions endlessly supply you with experience points; they also contribute toward the acquisition of city tokens.

Essentially, if you stick around in a district for long enough during ‘downtime’ between major missions, youwillgain experience points, so long as you’re taking app requests. The amount of experience may not seem as beneficial in the higher levels, but that doesn’t mean you won’t keep rising up to a point. As for the level cap, this time it’s 60, which is impressive - but more importantly, it means plenty enough skill points through which to develop the heroes' abilities.
