ThePS5’s design isn’t for everyone. The hefty console’s look was memed and mocked when first revealed byPlayStationin 2020. It does have one very unique feature for anyone who wants to alter what their PS5 looks like, though. The console’s cover can be removed and its outer shell replaced with one that’s a different color, or even sports a different design. There are a few official options available, including the red and blackMarvel’s Spider-Man 2cover shown off as part of a console accessories collection launching on September 1.

The trouble is, as is the case with almost anything PS5, as soon as the covers went up for pre-order, they sold out. There wasn’t really any indication that they would be back in stock either, but thankfully, it wasn’t a case of one-and-done. Other retailers have started to get more stock of the covers, and if you act fast, you might well bag yourself a set atGameStopright now, although for the time being it appears to be the only place with them in stock right now.

The Spider-Man 2 cover is mostly black with a touch of red, designed to look like your console is being bothered, and potentially controlled by, a symbiote. A white Spider-Man symbol in the bottom corner completes the design. GameStop also has the matching Spider-Man 2 DualSense controller. Similarly designed, the DualSense is red on the right with about two-thirds of the controller affected by a symbiote, and of course, the same symbol right in the middle of the touchpad.

Spider-Man 2’s symbiote-style PS5 covers are back in stock at GameStop, but you’ll need to act fast. Odds are they won’t be in stock for long and supplies are likely incredibly limited.

If you do manage to bag yourself a Spidey cover, you’ll be able to start building the hype to the sequel’s release early. Even though the game doesn’t hit PS5 until October 20, the cover and all of the other accessories connected to it release on September 1. That hopefully means more retailers will be getting the covers and controllers in stock between now and the end of the month, so keep your Spidey sense sharp.

Spider-Man 2 Special Edition DualSense Controller

Not quite as hard to come by as the cover, but still highly sought after, the special edition Spider-Man 2 DualSense controller is also back in stock at GameStop.

If you do miss out on the current restock at GameStop, try to resist the urge to buy the items from scalpers. A large chunk of the first batch of stock wound up on resale sites, being sold for three times the price. Buy from them and not only are you out of pocket, but it’ll result in more of that happening the next time a highly sought-after console, controller, or accessory goes on sale.
