Whenever a newNintendo Switchgame is released, a few new amiibo figures modeled after characters from it usually aren’t far behind. The first anniversary ofSplatoon 3came and went over the weekend, and some of the characters introduced via the latest installment in the series will be getting their very first amiibos very soon. Big Man, Shiver, and Frye, and the one I’m fairly certain is the most popular of those three is back up for pre-order atTarget.
I am, of course, talking about Big Man. The biggest problem with amiibos is not only that they tend to sell out fast, but that when they do, there’s no telling when they’ll be back in stock, if ever. Thankfully, since the Big Man and other new Splatoon 3 amiibos haven’t even technically been released yet - they’re still only available to pre-order - it was more or less a certainty that more stock would show up somewhere once the first wave sold out.

That has been the case for Big Man whose amiibo is once again available at Target. Again, the newSplatoonfigure has proven to be very popular, so if you’ve had your eye on one, now’s the time to secure yours. you may pre-order the Big Man amiibo for Nintendo Switch through the link below. If the red “pre-order now” button has disappeared by the time you click it, I’m afraid you’ve missed out and will have to wait for them to reappear, whether that be at Target or any other retailers that stock amiibos.
Big Man Amiibo
Finally, the best character in the Splatoon series is getting his own amiibo figure. Big Man was introduced in Splatoon 3 and is a member of the in-game band, Deep Cut.
Big Man, Shiver, and Frye were introduced to the Splatoon series last year, collectively known as Deep Cut. As for what the Big Man amiibo will get you when it interacts with your Switch, players will be able to make friends with the character and take in-game photos together. It will also unlock new gear, presumably items that can’t be unlocked unless you have this specific figure.
The Big Man, Shiver, and Frye amiibos will be released on June 04, 2025, and will be the second wave of figures modeled after characters from Splatoon 3. The first wave was released shortly after the game’s launch, adding new Inkling and Octoling amiibos to the series' collection as well as a debut for Smallfry. With the Switch’s successor seemingly coming in 2024, what exactlyNintendohas planned for amiibos when its next generation of console is announced remains unclear.
