One of two preconstructed Commander decks from Wilds of Eldraine, the Fae Dominion deck seeks to secure your rightful rule over the battlefield with all sorts of powerful flying Fae. If you’re looking to pick up a new deck or want to snag a couple of great Commander pieces, these cards are among the best you’ll find in the Fae Dominion deck.
10Midnight Clock
It might not be new or flashy, having been printed back in Magic’s first appearance on Eldraine, butthe blue mana rock Midnight Clockis an essential card for most blue Commander decks.
Each upkeep, both you and all your opponents put an hour counter on Midnight Clock.

At 12 counters, you shuffle your hand and graveyard back into your deck and draw seven new cards. Make sure you leave your mana open for when the clock strikes twelve, so you have plenty of resources to cast your new spells.
9Sower Of Temptation
On the surface, Sower of Temptation might not seem like much; it is a way to permanently steal a creature from an opponent, but it is just one creature. The upside is that you have that creature for as long as you have the Sower in play. But the second it is destroyed, you lose that creature.
What Sower of Temptation is great for, though, is when you want to steal a very specific combo piece or even an opponent’s commander. With a few counterspells or some way to give it hexproof, you can start dealing Commander damage with your opponent’s commanders.

8Mocking Sprite
Like a mono-blue Goblin Electromancer, Mocking Sprite reduces the cost of instant and sorcery spells by one generic mana. Even having just one of these creatures in play lets you cast spells you wouldn’t normally be able to or psyche your opponents into playing into your own counterspells while thinking you don’t have the available mana open.

Making multiple copies of Mocking Sprite reduces the cost of your spells even further, letting you cast massively impactful spells relatively easily. Kicking a Rite of Replication on a Mocking Sprite gives you a total of six copies of the Faerie, making just about any spell incredibly cheap.
7Alela, Cunning Conqueror
The alternate commander for the Fae Dominion deck, Alela, Cunning Conqueror rewards building a more hard control list, letting you sit back and wait for you to cast all your spells on your opponent’s turns. When you cast your first spell on an opponent’s turn, you make a 1/1 Faerie Rogue token with flying.
The next time you deal combat damage to a player with one of your Faeries, you goad a creature of your choice that player controls. This way, you may start sending your opponent’s creatures all over the battlefield, razing your opponent’s battlefield and life total.

6Reflections Of Littjara
Turning all your creature spells into a two-for-one seems like a good plan, and Reflections of Littjara lets you do just that. When this enchantment comes into play, you pick a creature type, likely Faeries, but you can pick anything you’d like.
Casting a spell of the chosentype creates a copy of that spell. If the copy is a permanent, like a creature, it becomes a token copy. You need to be careful about casting cards like your commander into it since the copy is still legendary, but any creature with an enter the battlefield effect becomes twice as good.

5Dig Through Time
This is one of the best draw spells ever printed, letting you look at seven cards and take two of them, and it only costs two blue mana! It doesn’t actually only cost two; normally, it costs eight, but with its delve ability, Dig Through Time lets you exile cards from your graveyard to pay for its generic mana cost.

It might not be the best card to topdeck while early in the game, but in the mid to late game, when you have a bunch of cards you don’t mind exiling from your graveyard, it’s a cheap way to dig through your deck for just the card you need.
4Hullbreaker Horror
One of the more powerful cards printed in the deck, Hullbreaker Horror might not be a Faerie, but it certainly synergizes well with them. This seven-mana Horror has flash, letting you cast it at the very end of your last opponent’s turn, just before yours.
Then for every spell you cast, you may either return another spell you don’t control or a nonland permanent back to its owner’s hand. With all the instant speed removal and creatures with flash in the deck, you can control the battlefield with ease.

3Brazen Borrower
It might not seem like much, but the power behind Brazen Borrower cannot be ignored. The adventure side of Brazen Borrower is Petty Theft, a two-mana instant that bounces a permanent back to its owner’s hand.
With it, you can put an enemy’s commander back in their hand to escape a potentially losing strike or even better, permanently deal with a particularly problematic token. Brazen Borrower, on the other hand, is a Faerie with flash that can only block flying creatures but has a beefy power stat that can whittle down planeswalkers and players alike.

2Tegwyll, Duke Of Splendor
The main commander for the Fae Dominion deck, Tegwyll, Duke of Splendor is quite possibly the best Faerie lord available to you andone of the best Faerie commanders ever. Like most lords, Tegwyll gives your other Faerie creatures +1/+1, giving them all a boost in stats.
The real power of Tegwyll comes when one of your Faeries dies, letting you draw a card and lose one life. Keeping your hand full after a brutal combat step or a board wipe is a great way to help you recover, but since it’s not a ‘may’ affect, be careful not to get your life total too low.

1Shadow Puppeteers
Sure, Shadow Puppeteers costs seven mana, which is a lot considering most Faeries are normally four or less, but the amount of power packed into this Faerie is undeniable. When it comes into play, you make two 1/1 Faerie Rogue tokens with flying. Not bad, but nothing great yet.
When you attack with a flying creature, however, you get to transform that creature into a 4/4 Dragon creature that retains its other creature types for the turn. That means if you’ve produced a ton of Faerie tokens over the game, you can suddenly transform them into a formidable flying force.
