Hoyoverse revealed a ton of details aboutGenshin Impact’sregions and characters before the game started, andLynettewas one of them. She was featured in the Teyvat Trailer alongside her sibling, Lyney, and they were known as the most popular magicians in Fontaine, the fourth region of the game.

Lynette is a four-star Sword user who wields an Anemo vision. Her Skill and Ultimate allow her to work as one of the best Anemo support characters, but you can also use her as a DPS if you get her constellations and build her a certain way.
Reaction Support
The best build you may use on Lynette is where she works as a reaction support because of her Burst’sability to infuse with other elements and deal damage of that element type. This only works with the elements that can be Swirled like Pyro, Electro, Hydro, and Cryo. You’ll also need a ton of Energy Recharge for this build.
The best artifact set to use on Lynette with this build is the Viridescent Venerer set. This set gives you someextra Anemo DMG Bonus while increasing the damage dealt by the Swirl reaction. It also reduces the opponents' RES for that element by 40 percent. This effect can be applied to multiple elements if you trigger multiple Swirls.
You’d always want to use this build in a team with one reaction carry andother characters who can support that reaction.
For example, if you use Lynette in a Vaporize team where the Pyro character is the main damage dealer,you’d want to trigger the Pyro Swirl using her Skill. After that, you can infuse her Ultimate with Hydro to get the constant application and Hydro RES decrease.
As for weapons, you may use both Freedom-Sworn and Favonius Sword on her. Freedom Sworn can increase her Elemental Mastery and alsogive a DMG boost to other party members when you trigger two elemental reactions. On the other hand, Favonius Sword can help you get the Ultimate back faster but you’ll need to have a bit of Crit.
DPS Lynette
It might not seem like a DPS build for Lynette is possible when you read her kit for the first time,but her constellations can make this quite a viable build. Here are the constellations you’re looking for:
Constellation One
After your Elemental Skill hits an opponent, itcreates a vortex that pulls nearby opponents.
Makes your Skill have an extra charge.
Constellation Six
After using your Skill, yougain Anemo infusion and Anemo DMG Bonusfor six seconds.
All these constellations are important for the DPS build since itrelies on the Anemo Infusion from Constellation Six.
Once you have the constellations,you can put the Desert Pavilion or Marechaussee set on her. The former increases her overall DMG while the latter makes it easier to get a good Crit Ratio since it’scommon for Lynette to gain or lose health when her Skill is used.
As for the weapon, the Sacrificial Sword can be great for making this build more regular asit instantly recharges your Skill when it’s used. This essentially lets you use up to three Skills at the same time, but you need to verify that you wait for the Anemo Infusion to go away before using the Skill again.
you’re able to also use Mistsplitter Reforged or The Black Sword as these willmake it easier to get a good Crit Ratio and give you increased overall damage. Though you might not be able to use her Anemo Infusion for too long.
Lynette Artifact Stat Priority
Lynette’s artifact stat priority can completely change depending on the build you’re using. For example, you’d need a ton of Elemental Mastery and Energy Recharge for the Support build,while having a good Crit Ratio is more important for the DPS build. Here are all the priorities you need to know:
Crit Rate/DMG > ATK Percent > Energy Recharge
Lynette Talent Priority
It can be quite rough to upgrade a character’s Talents in Genshin Impact, especially if they’re thefirst characters in a new region since their Talent Materials are released with them. This prevents players from pre-farming a character’s materials, which forces you to prioritize their Talent upgrades properly.
When it comes to Lynette, you can start by upgrading her Elemental Burst for the Support buildsince that’s the most important part of her kit. After that, you can focus on her Elemental Skill and completely ignore her Normal Attack Talent. You won’t be using her Normal Attacks on a support build.
You have toprioritize her Normal Attacks and Skillif you’re using the DPS build since that’s the main source of damage.
