In the world ofStarfield, Constellation is an organization founded in 2275 by Sebastian Banks and headquartered in New Atlantis, dedicated to exploring the stars beyond the Settled Systems. In 2330, Constellation’s influence has waned, and few even know that it’s still active.

Despite Constellation’s lessened influence in the Settled Systems, the organization still has a handful of dedicated members. Constellation’s members come from all sorts of backgrounds, from ex-pirates to theologians, cowboys, and scientists. It’s clear that Constellation membership relies more on character than background, and every member of the organization has something to contribute to the goal of space exploration.

10Matteo Khatri

Matteo Khatri is Constellation’s theologian, and he’s primarily concerned with understanding humanity’s place in the universe through a more spiritual lens. He means well, and he’s incredibly eager to contribute his skills to Constellation, but he’s also incredibly irritating.

Matteo is so forthright with his beliefs that they can rub off the wrong way. There are instances where he’ll ask the Spacefarer to take sides in debates or arguments with other Constellation members, and it’s just too much. Matteo brings a spiritual center to Constellation, and his heart is in the right place, but he still has a lot of growing up to do.

9Walter Stroud

Walter Stroud is the financier for Constellation, and he makes sure everyone knows it. Stroud made his fortune by founding Stroud-Eklund, one of the major ship manufacturing companies within the Settled Systems, and as the CEO, he has more than enough credits to keep Constellation afloat, as long as he lives.

Unfortunately, or perhaps unsurprisingly, Stroud can come across as abrasive and classist. Upon meeting the Spacefarer after they delivered an alien artifact to Constellation, Stroud took issue with their mining background and questioned their character. Fortunately, Stroud is mature enough to recognize when he has been rude and will admit to his shortcomings. He’s hard to like, but his financial contributions to Constellation make him an integral part of the organization.

8Vasco

Vasco is one of the many Model A robots that litter the Settled Systems. Model A robots are seen assisting miners in the Mars colony of Cydonia or technicians in HopeTech’s ship manufacturing facilities on Polvo, but Vasco is dedicated to Constellation’s mission to explore and understand the galaxy.

Being a robot, Vasco doesn’t have too much of a personality outside of being eager to help and perform his standard duties. While he may be programmed to help Constellation, Vasco’s loyalty and robot charm make him stand out as a valuable member.

7Noel

Noel is one of Constellation’s brightest minds. After being inducted into the organization by Constellation’s leader, Sarah Morgan, Noel has proven herself to be a capable member of the organization.

Noel is primarily focused on performing scientific research within Constellation. She studies and analyzes alien artifacts, organic compounds, and more, so if there’s any scientific endeavor or challenge that faces the group, Noel is eager to take it on.

6Vladimir Sall

Vladimir Sall is the primary caretaker for The Eye, a satellite sitting in orbit above New Atlantis that Constellation uses to hunt for alien artifacts. On a typical day, Vladimir is up there on his own, scouring over data and pumping iron to keep up his physique, but his true character shines when he gets a visitor.

Vladimir is one of the more social members of Constellation, always greeting others with a bombastic voice and a large smile. It’s hard to believe that he used to be in the Crimson Fleet, the most fearsome pirate organization in the Settled Systems. Lucky for Constellation, he was able to leave that past behind and become one of its best members.

5Cora Coe

Cora Coe is the daughter of Sam Coe, Constellation’s resident space cowboy. Despite being 12 years old, Cora’s intelligence and charm prove to be integral to the spirit of Constellation.

However, Cora isn’t able to contribute too much to the organization yet. While other members of the group can carry out missions on behalf of Constellation, Cora needs to sit on the sidelines. Still, her quips and haikus make her a unique and beloved member of Constellation.

4Andreja

Andreja is Constellation’s combat expert and has proven that she can handle herself in many different sticky situations. Skilled in stealth and particle beams, she is an excellent choice as a companion for stealth or open combat.

She’s surrounded by an air of mystery — not much is known about her past, and she prefers to keep it that way. However, she is more than willing to open up to others who show her compassion and support. At the end of the day, Andreja is as valuable as a combat ally as she is a friend, and she is an integral part of Constellation.

3Sarah Morgan

Sarah Morgan is the leader of Constellation, and it’s clear to see that she fits that role like a glove, since she is incredibly well-spoken and has proven herself capable of making decisions that advance Constellation’s goals.

Sarah is also skilled in astrodynamics and lasers, making her an excellent companion to have to help with space travel and combat. She’s not all business, though, and she’s willing to crack jokes and have fun whenever she can. Sarah might be Constellation’s leader, but it’s clear that she puts importance on being a good person and a friend as well.

2Barrett

Barrett is the first member of Constellation that the Spacefarer comes across before their journey in the Settled Systems, and his charm is evident from the moment he speaks. If Barrett were kidnapped, he’d be found by his rescuers chatting up his kidnappers about philosophy and space travel.

Putting aside his magnetic personality, Barrett is also a useful companion for space travel, being proficient in starship engineering and particle beam weapon systems. His skills make ships fly faster and shoot harder, something that makes him one of Constellation’s best.

1Sam Coe

Sam Coe has that quintessential cowboy charm. He’s stoic, but not emotionless. Straightforward, but not uncaring. He walks to the beat of his drum, but he also takes care of his daughter Cora while traveling the Settled Systems. He has the charm, the looks, and the empathy to make him the most charismatic member of Constellation.

Sam is also an excellent companion to have around, and he’s proficient in piloting and rifles, which means that he can supply ships with more power during flights, and can handle his own in combat. He’s also proficient in payloads and can increase a ship’s cargo capacity by ten percent. With his practical skills and cowboy charm, Sam proves himself to be Constellation’s finest.
