Mutators inRemnant 2enhance your weapons effectively. These items can be attached to your weapon, granting it additional abilities, including increased damage, quicker reload speed, enhanced weapon mod generation, and more. Luckily, there are two kinds of Mutators: Melee Mutators, tailored for your melee weapons, and Ranged Mutators, fitting for both your Handgun and Long Gun.
Mutators can be upgraded at Dwell, located in Ward 13. However, the process demands a material called Corrupted Lumenite Crystal. Although you might stumble upon this crystal randomly in the world, you’ll need to farm it if you aim to upgrade a particular Mutator to its max level.

How To Farm Corrupted Lumenite Crystals
Corrupted Lumenite Crystalsare obtained bydefeating Aberrations bosses. These bosses can be identified by theirred auraand are powerful versions of existing enemies in the game.
Below is a list of Aberration bosses that drop Corrupted Lumenite Crystals throughout the game.

First Method
In order to farm Corrupted Lumenite Crystals, there’s onlyone effective method left due to patches affecting other bosses in the base game. This is from farmingRipshawspecifically. Here is the best farming method so far:
While you can still get Corrupted Lumenite Crystals from other bosses, this method stands out as themost dependable because it’s short, and the Ripsaw boss consistently spawns in that specific location.
Second Method
The second reliable method requires you to have theAwakened King DLCand involves a boss fight againstThunderpiercer and Gorecarver. Once you arrive theDerelict Lighthouseandreach the first checkpointafter progressing through the area,follow the path on the left until you’re inside a building.
Inside, you’ll find Thunderpiercer and Gorecarver waiting for you. Upon defeating both, you’ll receivetwo Corrupted Lumenite Crystals from each.
The interesting part is that if yourest at the nearby checkpoint, for some reason,the fight resets. Returning to the building where you initially fought them, theyrespawn, and you can receive the four Corrupted Lumenite Crystals again.
Whether this is a bug or intended remains uncertain, but so far, it has proven to be the most reliable way to farm Corrupted Lumenite Crystals.
