Assassin’s Creed Miragelets you dress your character in a greater variety of ways than any previous game in the series, even to the extent ofMortal Kombat 1through its introduction of different color dyes. There are two categories of clothing you can put on Mirage’s protagonist, Basim – Outfits and Costumes.
Outfits are special suits that give you extra perks and abilities to help you in the gameplay, while costumes are purely cosmetic options that change your appearance and don’t affect the perks of your current outfit. While you maywant to invest in more important things first, there’s a wide range of costumes to consider for Basim.

12White Patient Robe
Though it’s called White Patient Robe, this costume is far from your typical assassin robe attire. The design is a seemingly injured Basim with his face fully exposed in tattered clothes and bandages wrapped around his arms, right shoulder, and chest. You also have additional wrappings tied like a belt around his waist.
This certainly doesn’t scream the look of a formidable assassin and is probably the weakest cosmetic outfit you can equip. But if you’d rather see Basim out of the hooded uniform and have no accessories on his head, this is the perfect one to wear.

11Eunuch Tunic
The Eunuch Tunic is a costume arriving in your inventory once you steal it from an actual eunuch during ‘The Servant and the Imposter’ missionto disguise yourselfbefore entering the Harem. Though the name’s got an odd off-putting rhyme to it, if you want to keep Basim posing as a eunuch for more than just one mission, you certainly can.
It likewise obviously doesn’t conceal his face like the traditional assassin outfits but does offer a fez-type hat as the headgear. The red and gold embroidered cloth and navy blue clothing underneath is also a much cleaner and royal look than the White Patient Robe costume.

10Scholar Costume
An assassin scholar sounds like an unusual pairing of skills, but you may roleplay as one in Mirage if you equip Basim with the Scholar Costume. This costume is described as the standard garb of those studying in the House of Wisdom, Baghdad’s sprawling public library and center for education on sciences and mathematics during the Islamic Golden Age.
The costume has some excellent details and gives one of the more elegant assassin looks for Basim, with a white turban and neck scarf, chain, and shiny gold and dark green patterned garments. But the white cloth tied around the waist can seem a bit too thick and unnecessary, covering a portion of the costume and giving off the look of bandage wrappings as well.

9King Of Thieves Costume
The King of Thieves Costume is your reward for completing The Forty Thieves quest, accessible in the game exclusively as a pre-order bonus. It’s a series of missions you do for Murjana, the daughter of the hero of the original Arabic folk tale named Ali Baba.
As an assassin in this series, you’re a sort of master thief in addition to being a stealth and combat expert, so this is a fitting costume to have. This one also showcases a more standard assassin fit with all the accessories and a lowered hood. And what’s even better is that you receive it as a bonus and that it’s tied to the One Thousand and One Nights collection, where the story of Aladdin also comes from.

8Desert Traveler Costume
The Desert Traveler Costume can work perfectly as a stealth assassin suit, especially since it makesyour throwing knife tools visible on the belt, and as proper protection from the desert environments in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. It’s also got the black turban wrapping instead of the white color seen in all the other costume styles, which is a nice contrast.
The gray and black palette overall is something different and more menacing to see on Basim, and this one additionally offers a necklace with beautiful blue gemstones he can wear. The main drawback of the costume is that it’s one of those you acquire only after finishing the game.

7Basim Valhalla Costume
If Assassin’s Creed Mirage left you feeling nostalgic for Basim’s assassin outfit from the previous game, the Ubisoft store offers a free Basim Valhalla Costume. It’s a fun way to mess with the timeline, considering you’re roaming around ninth-century Baghdad in Basim’s gear that he’ll wear decades into the future upon meeting Viking protagonist Eivor.
It’s very different from the outfit we now know Basim started with during the early stages of his journey as a Hidden One, called the Initiate of Alamut. This style is a combination of features from Roshan’s costume and Altair’s costume with more extended shoulder pads and the clothing’s hood element appearing as a separate leather hide cowl not attached to the suit.

6Altair Costume
Another costume available from a past Assassin’s Creed title, though not Basim’s, is Altair’s from the original 2007 game, who was the first ancestral assassin introduced in the series. Miragedoes take some things back to the basic elementsthe early games were known for, so why not use Altair’s skin to carry out the Hidden Ones' business?
Even better is that you can also recreate the blue aesthetic of the original game by going into the settings to turn on the ‘Iconic Color Filter’ to truly see what an AC1 remaster experience would feel like on next-gen consoles. The only catch is this one is not free in the Ubisoft Connect store and will cost you 60 units.

5Initiate Of Alamut Outfit
The Initiate of Alamut is Basim Ibn Ishaq’s standard assassin outfit that you get early on in the game when he’s initiated into the Order, and it also becomes the only costume that doubles as an outfit in the game. You may even prefer this hooded suit on Basim over the Valhalla design, given its more original distinct look.
There’s a nice color palette of white and navy blue going on with this costume, which feels reminiscent ofConnor Kenway’s from Assassin’s Creed 3. There’s also the detail of a headscarf in addition to the cloaked hood over his head, and the cloth running over the neck and shoulders has fringe tassels like you’d see on rugs and tapestries.

4Treasure Hunter Costume
While not an assassin-oriented costume, the Treasure Hunter still compliments your character since there are treasures you search for in the game, along with the numerous chests you can loot. In fact, to obtain this costume you must return all the 18 artifacts you pickpocket from marked targets to Dervis.
This costume showcases the elegance and style of the Altair costume but with the white turban headgear instead of a hood, which makes the whole getup flow even better. You also have the shoulder pads from the Alamut costume and the addition of an explorer’s pouch to fully complete the Treasure Hunter aesthetic.

3Ezio Revelations Costume
Ezio Auditore from Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is another legacy costume you can purchase for Basim to wear from the Ubisoft Connect store, costing you 100 units. And surprisingly, Basim can pull off this fit even better than Ezio.
The Revelations outfit was a completely new style for Ezio, a departure from the iconic white and red colorway of AC2 and Brotherhood to a black and red decorated with various symbols. Practically speaking, the suit was made for colder climates, hence the shoulder pad and accessories made of fur, but it’s a good thing Basim isn’t affected by the intense heat of his environment.
