In EA Sports FC 24, Icons will give one chemistry point to all players, with two additional points (for a full three chemistry) coming via other players from the same country. With this in mind, Icons have incredible flexibility to slot into almost any team, provided they have a teammate or two from their own country.
10Garrincha – 92 Overall
Mane Garrincha is a Brazilian legend with wonderful attributes to help him excel in your team. His Pace teeters on the edge of excellence, but his Passing and Dribbling skills are where you’ll find the most impressive contributions from Garrincha.
PlayStylesare thereplacement for “traits”, which are no longer in Ultimate Team as of EASFC 24.
He boasts two PlayStyle that help feed into his quick-dribbling prowess: Flair and Technical, which lend themselves perfectly to some tricks. When it comes to his end-product, Garrincha’s 85 Shooting will serve you well, being highlighted by 87 Finishing.
9Gerd Muller – 92 Overall
Gerd Muller is the best pure goalscorer in German footballing history, with incredible attributes in EASFC 24 to back up his legendary career. While his 87 Pace will be noticeably slower even in comparison to Garrincha, Muller’s 92 Shooting leaves plenty of room to score from almost anywhere.
Luckily, Muller’s Pace won’t be a hindrance once he’s in position in and around the penalty box. His sublime 97 Finishing blows many others out of the water and sets Muller apart from many other Strikers. His Trivela PlayStyle is perfect for scoring with the outside of his boot, given how effective that type of shot tends to be.
8Paolo Maldini – 92 Overall
When it comes to defending in football, few names are as synonymous with greatness as Paolo Maldini. The Italian Icon justifies his immense reputation with some stellar defensive attributes that stand out from the pack. His 95 Defending should rightfully turn a few heads as Maldini glides into the path of oncoming opponents to dispossess them easily.
While his Intercept and Aerial PlayStyle aren’t the flashiest, you’ll notice just how many duels Maldini wins as a result of those additions. As a defender, 85 Pace should provide plenty of tracking-back speed to keep up with eventhe fastest players in EASFC 24.
7Ferenc Puskas – 92 Overall
Unfortunately for Gerd Muller, Puskas has him beat in most attributes, though Muller has a tiny advantage in height, if you prefer. When it comes to a pure scorer, Puskas might just be the most famous in the history of the sport, which is reflected in his exceptional 94 Shooting.

Puskas does boast a notable advantage in his number of PlayStyle compared to other players, with Power Shot, Rapid, Quick Step, Flair, and Trivela combining for excellent synergy. These qualities give Puskas a smooth feel on the ball and allow him to sneak through on goal more often than you’d expect.
6Mia Hamm – 93 Overall
Mia Hamm headlines the inaugural class of Women’s Icons in EA Sports FC 24, boasting an incredible card worthy of its high price point on the market. As a legend of US and international women’s football, Mia Hamm’s card is deservedly impressive.
As one ofthe best cards in EASFC 24 Ultimate Team, Mia Hamm possesses the perfect combination of Skill Moves and a weak foot that can hardly be called weak. To go along with incredibly high attributes like 92 Pace and 93 Shooting, Mia Hamm also boasts the Finesee, Flair, and Relentless PlayStyle to enhance her already dangerous scoring abilities.
5Johan Cruyff – 93 Overall
Puskas and Muller are fantastic attackers, but even they are not equal to Johan Cruyff. In fact, this Dutch icon has an unprecedented set of balanced attributes, touting 90 Pace, 91 Shooting, 90 Passing, and 93 Dribbling. As a wizard with the ball, his Dribbling is rightfully highlighted among his many amazing qualities.
Cruyff’s PlayStyles read like a laundry list of everything a perfect attacking player should possess. Chip Shot, Incisive Pass, Tiki Taka, First Touch, Trickster, and Trivela enable Cruyff to dance around defenders and goalkeepers like they’re standing still.

4Ronaldinho – 93 Overall
Ronaldinho’s unique body type and animations make him perhaps the most coveted player in EASFC Ultimate Team year after year. With attributes like 91 Pace, 89 Shooting, 90 Passing, 95 Dribbling, and 80 Physical, it’s easy to see why Ronaldinho just feels like he’s different from any other player.

His Trivela, Finesse Shot, Flair, and Technical PlayStyle make Ronaldinho a menace in anyone’s hands, but his skill ceiling is still quite high. If you’ve dedicated yourself to learning and perfecting the meta-game, then Ronaldinho is simply a must-have player for your squad.
3Ronaldo – 94 Overall
Ronaldo Nozario’s name may confuse some younger fans who grew up with Cristiano Ronaldo, but there’s no mistaking just how exceptional his skills are. While he doesn’t feel as versatile as attackers like Cruyff or Ronaldinho, Ronaldo simply puts the ball in the net better than anyone.
His matching 94 Pace, Dribbling, and Shooting only serve to enhance his Finesse Shot PlayStyle which will probably be the most important of his three. Trickster and Technical are excellent additional PlayStyles for Ronaldo to escape from danger if you find yourself in tight spaces. Just be aware that his 89 Agility will not match the fluidity of legends like Cruyff.
2Zinedine Zidane – 94 Overall
Zinedine Zidane has one of the most perfectly balanced Icon cards in EA Sports FC 24, which you’ll notice immediately from the green attribute totals in every category. While previous icons were prized for their specialties in either Dribbling, Shooting, or Pace, Zidane is more of a jack-of-all-trades who can put in an excellent shift in midfield.
While his Speed won’t dazzle, Zidane’s control of the ball and impressive height allow him to get a head to the ball in aerial duels while others in his position would not. With a seven PlayStyle list that includes Trivela, Long Ball Pass, Flair, and Finesse Shot, Zidane offers distribution and solo runs that will improve your whole squad.
1Pele – 95 Overall
The GOAT of the sport sits on his throne as the highest-rated Icon in EASFC 24 with a combination of amazing attributes and impressive PlayStyles that would make any other player jealous. A four-star weak foot does stick out as odd, but there will likely be an upgrade to this in a future promo card release.
Small imperfection aside, Pele can do everything you’d want an attacking player to do on the field. He drives the play with his unrivaled Pace and Dribbling while presenting a threat to score from anywhere with his 94 Shooting attribute. Finesse Shot, Incisive Pass, Trickster, and Quick Step PlayStyles give Pele the quick elusiveness that allows him to dominate games against almost anyone.
