Once you enter Chapter Two, you will want to start earning a good amount of Florins so that you may purchase things like backpack upgrades and house upgrades. The price of things will start to go up, and 12-dollar butterflies just won’t cut it anymore.
1Cooked Meals
Any prepared meal will sell better than its raw counterpart. If you are looking to sell quick materials and crops, don’t. It is always best to compare and contrast by keeping one item as is, putting another through a machine, and seeing which sells for more.
Preparing ingredients from scratch on the Food Prep Table with things like turnips and Arugula will not sell for more than their raw counterparts, but they can then be used to create meals with the Cooking Hearth, which will, in turn, sell for more than everything combined.

2Left-Over Seals
Seals created to unlock mine floors can actually be sold for quite a lot. Each tier of seal will sell for a different price, but they are all worth selling if you have extra lying around. You may start accumulating a lot of extra ore. If you are tight on money, create seals you don’t need and sell them.
A regular single Iron Seal sells for 65 Florins, and a single Hammered Iron Seal sells for 85. An Engraved Iron Seal sells for 105 Florins. you’re able to imagine how much the higher-tier seals will sell for. If you have extra, sell away.

3Bug Drops
The more you start catching and collecting random bugs, the more you will find they drop other items. Objects such as Flutter Dust or Bug Juice are chance drops from bugs that will drop once you capture them.
RELATED:Fae Farm: All House Upgrades
These bug drops well for way more than the actual bug itself. Bug Juice, obtained from things like ladybugs, sells for 24 Florins. Flutter Dust, obtained from butterflies, sells for 24 Florins. Because these drops are by chance, you will want to craft the Critter Conservatory to create these items at a quicker pace.
4Rare Critters
Of course, selling rare critters will always be of higher value than selling its common counterpart. An example is the moth. Moths show up at night and sell for 10 Florins. you may find a rare moth at night called the Moon Moth that will sell for 30 Florins.
Another rare creature is a rainbow frog. You have probably stumped upon them before. Their common counterpart is a green toad or purple Peeper and will sell for around 15 Florins. To know what fish is rare, you will have to look out for whichever fish has a glowing aura around it.

5Polished Gems
This is the biggest way to make money. You have probably wondered what to do with all the gems you find while mining. During your time in the Saltwater mines, you will find geodes with gems like Topaz or Aquamarine inside them.
These gems can sell for around 15 Florins each, but turning gems into Polished Gems will get you way more Florins. Polished Gems sell for 125 each. Make sure to craft a Gem Polisher to get the job done.
