Updated on June 06, 2025, by Erin McKendrick:Fans are noting that we’re seeing Lara in pretty much anything but Tomb Raider these days. The famed heroine frequently pops up across different series and franchises as a playable character. Though many of us look forward to a new Tomb Raider game, it’s still a nice treat getting Lara in different genres of video games.

OnJuly 16, 2024, Croft was added to the 43 playable survivors in Dead by Daylight. The title feels well-suited for Lara’s reboot survivor-horror era, as she’s dressed in the same torn clothes and ponytail from Tomb Raider (2013). Luckily, if you’re not a horror fan, you still have plenty of other genres in which you may play the iconic character.

Lara makes her return to the survival-horror genre in Dead by Daylight. Play Lara as she attempts to survive the night, evading a vicious Killer. Lara has three substantial perks: Finesse, Hardened, and Specialist. Finesse can be activated when Lara is healthy, making her vaults 20 percent faster.

Hardened activates after you unlock a chest and cleanse or bless a totem. Once activated, the Killer’s aura will be revealed for five seconds. With Specialist, Lara will gain a token each time she opens or rummages through a chest.

You’ll also have access to two other outfits: the Retro Fit, sporting her classic round sunglasses and a more sporty outfit akin to what she wears in Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and the Polar Expedition Fit, which mirrors what she wears at the very beginning of Rise of the Tomb Raider.

2Hero Wars Alliance

Lara makes yet another 2024 appearance in her Hero Wars Alliance debut. The RPG brings Lara to the world of Dominion. Her special Talent is Expedition Expert, which offers one extra daily expedition for players to enjoy.

So far, Lara has three additional skins, two of which are incredibly powerful. These two skins are inspired by her Antarctica look in Tomb Raider II and her Mediterranean Sea wetsuit in Tomb Raider Underworld, respectively. Her third additional skin resembles her Doppelganger in Tomb Raider Underworld. This particular skin is exclusive and doesn’t offer too much in terms of function.

3Shadow Warrior

Released in 1997, one year after the release of the original Tomb Raider, Shadow Warrior, a first-person shooter series, gave Lara Croft her own special cameo. In a hidden space, you may find Lara chained up in a cell, looking exactly how she does in the original game. She’s dressed in her classic outfit, featuring a braid, a tank top, shorts, holsters, and boots.

When you encounter her, the protagonist will snidely say, “She’s raided her last tomb.” Needless to say, Croft has seen better circumstances, but it’s still one of her most unique cameos.

4Call Of Duty Modern Warfare Season 2

Lara Croft is no stranger to downloadable skins. After being featured in two other multiplayer games,Call of Dutydecided to add her to Modern Warfare Season 2 as part of the Operator Pack Bundle. Though her classic appearance is often cartoonish in other games, Call of Duty is the first to portray her hyperrealistically.

Keeley Hawes reprises the role of Lara’s voice actress, appearing for the first time since Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris. Hawes incorporates different quotes from all Tomb Raider eras, making this version of Larathe perfect combination of all three.

5Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 6

Unlike many others, there are four Lara Croft skins inFortnite. One of the skins resembles survivor Lara, specifically donning her Tomb Raider 2013 look with a ponytail, pants, a single pistol, and bandages. And though these next two look the same, they’re different versions of Croft.

Lara Croft (Classic) is a call back to Tomb Raider 1-5, while Lara Croft (25th Anniversary) pays homage to Tomb Raider Anniversary, the 2007 remake of the first game. Last but not least, there’s Lara Croft (Gold Anniversary), a reference to a scene in both the first game and the remake whereLara steps onto King Midas’ hand and turns into gold.

6Fall Guys

Let’s be honest, no skin inFall Guyswill make you look any less like a giant bean, but that’s all the more reason to incorporate an iconic character. Croft’s appearance is a combination of her classic look and her survival era. She wears a braid, holsters, a belt, and gloves, but she also wears pants and her Tomb Raider 2013 necklace.

When sliding/diving, she’ll mimic finger guns on each hand, referencing her classic dual pistols. Despite having more resemblance to classic Lara, the newer Croft is still included.

7Lara Croft: Guardian Of Light & Temple Of Osiris

Though featuring the iconic character, the Lara Croft series is separate from Tomb Raider. The first of the two games, Guardian of Light, came shortly after Tomb Raider Underworld, released in 2008. Temple of Osiris released in 2014, between Tomb Raider 2013 and Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Unlike the Tomb Raider series, the Lara Croft series is a top-down gaming experience that focuses almost entirely onpuzzles and treasure hunting—something that’s occasionally been forgotten as the Tomb Raider series evolved. The puzzle game allowed players to play Croft while waiting for installments from the main series.

Serving as a detailed guide to PS5 controls,Astro’s Playroomis a simple platformer that makes tutorials fun. It’s the perfect place to learn how to play the PS5 but also the perfect place for video game character cameos.

You can see easter eggs referencing Metal Gear Solid, Horizon Zero Dawn, Ghost of Tsushima, Street Fighter, Bloodborne, and the list goes on. Lara Croft earns her rightful place among the featured characters. Dressed in her classic outfit and braid, you can see Croft practicing parkour as she jumps between two cliffs.

9Brawlhalla

The free-to-play fighting game has plenty of fun characters, and Lara Croft is surely one of the most iconic among them. Croft appears inBrawlhalla’s Tomb Raider Crossover Event as one of the Epic Crossover Skins.

Lara Croft comes bundled with an additional skin. One skin is herclassic look, and the other is from her survivor era. And luckily, choosing a skin doesn’t limit your arsenal. In addition to her dual pistols, you can use her bow, no matter which skin you’ve equipped.

10Croft Manor, Outfits, And Parodies

Though plenty of games include Lara in her own right, others make references to the character. InPowerWash Simulator, you can clean Croft Manor,Lara’s massive property you could explore in a handful of Tomb Raider games.

InDuke Nukem: Time to Kill, you can find a misogynistic easter egg featuring Croft’s tank top and shorts hanging up in a strip club, described as “skanky.” And in a more lightheaded easter egg, Asterix and Obelix XXL 2 parodies Croft. Larry Croft dresses just like Lara and poses for Tomb Raider, or rather “Larry Croft,” movie and video game posters.
