Naturally, the best weapons in the game are theparticle beam weapons, which simultaneously deal energy and physical damage. However, if you’re looking to deal solely energy damage to your targets, here is a list of some of the best laser weapons for you to choose from in the Settled Systems.

8Brawler’s Equinox

The Brawler’s Equinox is a very peculiar weapon in Starfield. Despite being listed as a laser rifle, it doesn’t do any energy damage or deal physical damage. It instead does two EM damage, making it the only non-lethal laser weapon and one of only two non-lethal rifles in the game.

Despite its lack of lethal damage, the Brawler’s Equinox is an excellent weapon. It can hit targets from a range of 50 and has a massive 180 fire rate. It is also incredibly accurate, with an accuracy percentage of 66.5 percent. Still, suppose you can get up close to your targets during combat. In that case, Brawler’s Equinox has a rare effect that deals double damage when gun bashing. This is a very situational effect but still nice to have.

5Short Circuit

The Short Circuit is a cool-looking laser pistol capable of dealing ten energy damage, which may not be too impressive. Still, with an accuracy percentage of 75.8 percent, you can make that ten damage count for way more than it’s worth.

The Short Circuit pistol also has a range of 32, a fire rate of 29, and an impressive magazine capacity of 22 rounds. If you get your hands on a rare Short Circuit pistol, you will have the ability to deal an additional 20 percent damage against robot targets.
