Summary
Creating your Ultimate Team inEA Sports FC 24starts by building around a single league or player. While Ligue 1 is considered the weakest of the top five leagues, there’s no denying that some of the best players in EASFC 24 can be found in the French league.
While the current best Ligue 1 players may include the usual suspects like Mbappe, there are a few Hero cards from Ligue 1 that may surprise you with their skills. Whether you’re rolling with a French League theme or simply need some prolific players to come off your bench, there’s something for you in Ligue 1.

10Presnel Kimpembe – 82 Overall
Despite his relatively low overall rating, Presnel Kimpembe has the skills and length to defend the best attackers asone of the best budget players in EASFC 24. His key attributes are all roughly where you’d want them to be for a centre back, with 79 Pace, 81 Defending, and 86 Physical all hitting their marks.
On top of a solid attribute format, Kimpembe comes equipped with theBlock PlayStyle Plus, easily one of the best for a defender of his stature. Block’s increased reach combines perfectly with Kimpembe’s Intercept PlayStyle, allowing him to make some stellar last-ditch standing tackles to save the day.

9Achraf Hakimi – 84 Overall
While Kimpembe is much more of a defensive-minded centre back, you’ll find that Achraf Hakimi prefers to spring up and down the wings to do his damage. Hakimi will actually be a great partner for Kimpembe, given their complementary styles.
Hakimi’s Whipped Pass and Quick Step PlayStyles give him the basic qualities he needs to do his job as a fullback. Factor in Hakimi’s blistering Pace and solid array of attributes to make for a clear picture of why he functions so effectively, particularly on offense.

8Marquinhos – 87 Overall
Marquinhos is one of the most useful centre backs in EASFC 24 due to his excellent combination of chemistry and in-game benefits that he can provide for your team. As a Brazilian, Marquinhos can link with other top-tier national team peers like Eder Militao, Neymar, or Vini Jr, making him useful outside pure Ligue 1 sides.
Aside from his team-building benefits, Marquinhos does an amazing defensive job due toIntercept PlayStyle Plus. This enables Marquinhos to have greater reach and retention when dispossessing an offensive player, an exceptional quality for any centre back to have.

7RTTK Jonathan David – 86 Overall
Jonathan David’s Canadian nationality might prevent him from receiving the chemistry desired to be an effective starter, but there’s no denying hisincredible abilities off the bench. There’s something about Jonathan David that makes it hard for defenders to lock him down.
David’s five-star weak foot makes him so dangerous on offense, especially when you consider his excellent 88 Pace that he can use to get in behind. His size helps to make 81 Agility feel even better, and there’s nothing bad you can say about 87 Shooting – everything is exactly where you’d want it to be for a dangerous offensive player.

6RTTK Jonathan Clauss – 85 Overall
Jonathan Clauss has the blistering Pace and Agility to keep up with anyone andjockey his opponents into submissionalong the wing. Much like Hakimi, Clauss also touts the Whipped Pass PlayStyle, along with Anticipate, Relentless, and the underrated Long Throw.
While his defensive attributes don’t jump off the page, Clauss' excellent PlayStyles and 90 Pace make a wonderful combination for this wingback. His 80 Passing is fantastic for his position, and 82 Dribbling improves his versatility, making Clauss an exceptional choice at RB or RWB.

5RTTK Ousmane Dembele – 89 Overall
Ousmane Dembele is a fantastic addition to any team despite his tendency to spend more time on the sideline than on the pitch in real life. He’s absolutely one ofthe best five-star skillers in EASFC 24and even boasts a perfect weak foot to round out his bells and whistles.
Dembele touts an incredible 96 Pace and 90 Dribbling, making him an excellent elusive winger, if you’re able to utilize that style effectively. Dembele also boasts theRapid PlayStyle Plusto make him even more threatening dribbling at the defense. While he is a nearly perfect finesse player on paper, Dembele needs a skilled hand to be used effectively.

4Hero Abedi Pele – 89 Overall
Abedi Pele is a similarly dangerous offensive threat to Dembele, with matching 91s in Pace and Dribbling to highlight his best attributes. However, Abedi Pele will operate more centrally as a CAM and should often outlast Dembele’s 72 Stamina with 83 of his own.
Abedi Pele also has theRapid PlayStyle Plusto make another direct Dembele comparison. Despite downgrades in both weak foot and Skill Moves, Abedi Pele should provide an excellent blend of goals and assists, leaning on a wonderful 87 Passing to help make him an even more well-rounded threat than someone more limited to Dribbling.

3Hero Sidney Govou – 86 Overall
Sidney Govou always has a knack for outperforming his attributes, though 89 Pace and Shooting are certainly nothing to scoff at. 88 Dribbling helps to ensure that Govou has no problem creating his own space, while also maintaining a respectable 80 Passing to lay the ball off when required.
Aside from eluding defenders with his smaller frame, Govou brings an unexpected burst of power via hisPower Shot PlayStyle Plus. This means Govou’s Power Shots will be taken quicker and will be harder than before, making him a threat anywhere around the box.

2Hero David Ginola – 89 Overall
Enough good things cannot be said about the wonderfully well-rounded and versatile David Ginola, whose Hero card makes an argument for the best in EASFC 24. Aside from Ginola’s ability to play CAM, Striker, LW, or LM, he also boasts an otherworldly set of attributes.
90 Pace, 88 Shooting, 87 Passing, and 91 Dribbling cannot get much better and offer perhaps the most incredible blend of skills for a winger. HisTechnical PlayStyle Plusmakes it even easier for Ginola to glide around with Controlled Sprint or dribble through defenders with his five-star Skill Moves.

1Trailblazers Kylian Mbappe – 92 Overall
The best Ligue 1 footballer and only player capable of holding a candle to David Ginola is the talented Kylian Mbappe. PSG’s star boasts similar Skill Moves to Ginola, and a four-star weak foot to somewhat keep in line with his fellow Frenchman.
Much like Sidney Govou, Mbappe also has thePower Shot PlayStyle Plusto go along with some unbelievable attributes like 98 Pace, 93 Dribbling, and 91 Shooting. Rapid, Quick Step, and Trivela PlayStyles all help to improve Mbappe’s overall offensive qualities. With the ability to play Striker, LW, or CF, Mbappe can fit multiple roles depending on where you want to deploy the best Ligue 1 player.
