When you head over to the party setup section ofHonkai: Star Rail, you’ll see six different tabs with four slots each. This allows you to create up to six teams at the same time, and your battle’s result highly depends on the synergy between the characters on your team.
Jingliu is a five-star Ice character on the path of Destruction, and building the correct team around her is even more important since she directly relies on her allies during the buffed Skill. Thankfully, the giant character roster in the game gives you quite a few choices.

8March 7th
Out of all the support characters in the game, March 7th is the easiest one to use with Jingliu since you get her for free at thestart of the main story. She can use her Skill to provide a shield for one character, and this shield can be applied to different characters at the same time using multiple Skills.
However, she specifically synergizes with Jingliu because of a part of her Skill that increases the chances of enemies attacking the character shielded by her. This allows Jingliu to regenerate her Energy much faster while also taking away damage from her allies.

7Luocha
Luocha is another five-star limited character in Honkai: Star Rail, and he follows the path of Abundance. His Skill can be used to heal an ally and remove one of their debuffs. Jingliu is usually going to be the only DPS on your team, which makes it quite important for her to not get crowd-controlled by the enemy.
Moreover, Luocha creates a field once his Skill or Ultimate have been used twice, and this field heals all allies whenever an enemy is attacked. All of this healing is quite a necessity for Jingliu since she takes her allies' HP away with her buffed Skill.

6Silver Wolf
Ever since her release, Silver Wolf has been one of the most flexible characters since her kit allows her to go well with every single DPS in the game. She can use her Skill to implant one Weakness on an enemy, which is quite game-breaking since most of your combat relies on the Weakness bars.
Whenever she attacks an enemy, she also implants a random bug that can reduce their DEF, ATK, or SPD. If all of this wasn’t enough, she can also use her Ultimate to massively reduce a single enemy’s DEF. All of this comes together to increase Jingliu’s damage significantly.

5Tingyun
Tingyun is a four-star Harmony character using the Lightning combat type, and she’s been a part of the game ever since its launch. She’s one of the most popular support characters because of her ability to increase a character’s Energy by using her own Ultimate. This type of ability is unique to her.
When you’re in the Spectral Transmigration state as Jingliu, your Ultimate DMG is increased and you also gain one Syzygy stack upon using this Ultimate. This makes it quite important to get this ability back as fast as possible since you go out of the state if you reach zero stacks.

4Lynx
Lynx is another Abundance character in the game, except she’s a four-star, which makes her accessible to every player at any point as long as they get lucky. She has quite an amazing kit for a four-star since she can constantly heal all her allies with her Skill and Ultimate while also removing the entire party’s debuffs with the latter.
However, the unique part about her kit is that her Skill’s target gets extra aggro if they’re Destruction or Preservation. Being a Destruction character, Jingliu can use this to attract enemy attacks and regenerate some Energy while keeping her HP in a decent position.

3Blade
Being another five-star Destruction character, Blade is about the only DPS that synergizes well in a team with Jingliu. Blade’s talent contains up to five stacks, and he gets a stack whenever he’s attacked or if he loses HP by any means. This is enabled by Jingliu since she takes away allies' health with her buffed Skill.
Once he reaches five stacks, Blade unleashes a huge follow-up attack that deals massive damage to all the enemies. When put together, this combination can easily obliterate any enemy.

2Bronya
Bronya is a five-star Harmony character that you can acquire either on the Standard Banner or if you lose your50:50 on the Character Event Banner. She’s known for being able to provide an instant turn to one of her allies and heavily boosting the DMG and Crit DMG of her entire team.
Jingliu already gets an instant turn whenever she enters the Spectral Transmigration state, and you may double down on it by giving her another instant turn with Bronya. Moreover, since she already gets a ton of Crit Rate from her kit, the extra Crit DMG provided by Bronya helps a lot.

1Pela
Pela is essentially the four-star variant of Silver Wolf when it comes to the synergy with Jingliu, but she does have a few reasons for being better. She can’t implant a new Weakness on the enemy like her five-star counterpart, but she does have the ability to apply the DEF reduction from her Ultimate to multiple enemies at the same time.
This works better with Jingliu since most of her damage-dealing abilities are AoE. If the enemy already has an Ice Weakness, you’ll get much more value from Pela’s and Jingliu’s combination since they’re both Ice characters.
