With time,Genshin Impacthas massively grown its character roster. If you’ve been playing the game from the start, you’ve probably started having trouble going through your character screen and finding a particular character. However, this massive roster makes finding teammates for a new character relatively easy.
You can have a team of up to four characters in the game, but there are seven elements to choose from. Neuvillette’s kit also incentivizes having variety in your team, and you’ll deal less damage if you try to run a bunch of characters from the same element with him.
Best Neuvillette Carry Team
The most important thing you need to remember about Neuvillette is his Heir to the Ancient Sea’s Authority passive. This increases his Charged Attack damage by up to160 percent if you trigger three different Hydro reactions with him in the team. The stacks for each reaction count separately and last for 30 seconds.
Neuvillette has one of the few kits thatinclude the Crystallize reaction with Geoin the description.
This five-star Hydro character performs the best when you can keep him on the field for a long time. Ideally, you’d want to haveteam members who can quickly use their abilities and stay off the fieldwith him. Here’s how all the characters mentioned above help with that:
Zhongli
Apart from triggering the Hydro Crystallize reaction, Zhongli alsoreduces the surrounding enemies' RES to all types of attackswhen his shield is active. Moreover, Neuvillette usually stays on quite a low health due to his Charged Attack consuming his HP.
This makes Zhongli even better since theshield can protect him from getting eliminated.
Kaedehara Kazuha
Kaedehara Kazuha canincrease the party’s Elemental Type DMG for the element Swirled by his abilities. you’re able to also use the Viridescent Venerer set on him to increase Neuvillette’s Hydro DMG even further.
Raiden Shogun
Finally, Raiden Shogun doesn’t directly buff Neuvillette in any way apart from providing him a stack from the Electro-Charged reaction. However, shecan be used to get his Ultimate back much faster when you don’t have any droplets left.
Her Skill’s turret-type attack gets triggeredwhenever an enemy gets hit by any type of attack, which also works with Neuvillette.

If you trigger all the Hydro elemental reactions properly in this team, your Neuvillette willeasily be able to destroy the hardest contentin the game.
Free To Play Neuvillette Carry
Of course, the team above can seem a little too pay-to-win for newer playerssince the five-star characters get their reruns after quite a long time. If you don’t have those characters, you can always make a great team for Neuvillette with just four stars. This might deal a little less damage, but it’ll still be more than enough.
Fischl and Sucrose will have thesame role in the team as Raiden and Kazuha above respectively. However, Layla takes the place of Zhongli as the shielder of the team. She can trigger a Cryo shield around your active character whenever her Skill is used and also deal a ton of Cryo DMG to the enemies with her Skill and Burst.
This is great for triggering the Frozen reaction on the enemy constantly. Not only does this keep refreshing one of Neuvillette’s Charged Damage stacks,but it also prevents an enemy from moving if they’re not a boss.
Once again, you may useFavonius weapons on any of these team membersto increase Neuvillette’s Burst uptime.
This is quite important in this composition since you won’t have the extra Energy from Raiden’s Burst.
Reaction-Based Neuvillette Team
You’ll see the most damage from Neuvillette if you use him in a team with multiple buffers. However, that’snot as important when you’re trying to clear harder content like the Spiral Abyss. The endgame content in Genshin Impact puts a heavy focus on reaction-based damage, and that’s what this team is for.
Multiple Dendro reactions were released alongside Sumeru in the Version 3.0 update,but Hyperbloom came out as one of the best ones. This reaction triggers when you first apply Hydro to an opponent with Dendro on them to create a Dendro Core, and then apply Electro to the core on the ground.
When that happens, the core becomes a projectile thathits a single enemy and deals extra damage.
This team will use the Hyperbloom reaction to an extent,but it can also trigger Aggravate or Spread at times. Nahida can constantly apply Dendro to an enemy with her Skill, especially when you activate her Burst since it decreases the duration between each application because of Yae Miko’s element.
The last spot on this team is flexible, and you have a few ways to fill it. You can use a Pyro character like Xiangling here totrigger the Vaporize reaction sometimes and also get the Pyro effect from Nahida’s Burst. You can also use an Anemo crowd-controlling character like Venti to group enemies up.
Using an Anemo or Geo character also reduces the chances of yourHyperbloom reaction getting messed up.
Your rotation will change a littledepending on the character you use on the flex spot.
you may also consider using a shielder as the fourth member of the team to protect Neuvillette.
Double Hydro DPS Team
When Neuvillette was first released in Genshin Impact, he couldn’t be played alongside Furina since she wasn’t in the game just yet, which was quite a bummer given their relationship in the main story. However, this is now possible witharguably one of the strongest teams for this charactergiven the amount of damage you’ll see.
This team consists of three DPS units in the form of Neuvillette, Furina, and Xiangling. On the other hand,Xianyun’s main purpose is to keep the team in good healthby countering Furina’s team-wide HP drain with her team-wide healing. She can also give you some Plunge Attack DMG bonus if you’ve finished your rotation.
Ideally, you wouldn’t necessarily get to use these Plunge Attacks in the team,but it’s a good plan Bif you need just a bit more damage to defeat an enemy.

you’re able to easily run into Energy problems for Xianyun or Xiangling with this team, but it’snot something a Favonius weapon on either of them can’t resolve.
