In other words, take lots of pictures!
8Old Earth Locations
In the 22nd century, humanity learned that Earth’s magnetosphere would collapse in the near future, leaving Earth uninhabitable for all forms of life. As a result, humanity focused their efforts into developing grav drive technology that would allow them to flee Earth and colonize other planets lightyears beyond the solar system.
Now, in the present day of Starfield, Earth is a barren wasteland. The only remains of humanity on the planet are large landmarks like theEmpire State Buildingin New York City or the Osaka Tower in Japan. These buildings are completely abandoned, but their solitary nature makes these forgotten landmarks hauntingly beautiful and a perfect place to snap a picture or two.

7Constellation Lodge
The Constellation Lodge in New Atlantis might look a bit dull on the outside when you make your first visit, but it’s what’s on the inside that counts. When you step inside, you’re greeted by gorgeous wood construction and a beautiful glass window etched with the image of a compass that sits above the entrance into the main lobby.
In the lobby, there are floor-to-ceiling bookshelves filled to the brim with books, a crackling fireplace, a peaceful greenhouse, and of course, your collection of alien artifacts floating in a spherical shape in the center of the room. If you’re looking for an interior space to capture some photos, the Constellation’s charm and cozy vibes make it an excellent place to whip out your camera.

6Paradiso
Paradiso is a resort settlement located in the Porimma system on Porimma II, and its beauty is evident from the moment you set foot on the planet. Paradiso has an environment that’s reminiscent of tropical islands, making it a perfect destination for people looking to take a vacation in the Settled Systems.

Paradiso has a beach complete with a bar and a volleyball court, making it a perfect spot to catch some rays and take some sweet beachfront pictures. If the beach vibe isn’t your thing, there’s also a nightclub on the top of the Paradiso building with plenty of neon lights that provide some pretty cool lighting for photos. If you’re looking for some sweet vacation photos, Paradiso’s your spot.
5The Moon
The beauty of the Moon has been admired by humanity for thousands of years, and its beauty persists in Starfield. Of course, the lunar body that orbits Earth is barren, featuring little more than craters and dust, but that doesn’t stop it from being a fantastic spot to take photos.
There’s something beautiful about the desolate nature of the lunar surface. If you snap a few pictures there, you’ll quickly understand that it’s one of the best places to take photos in the game, and if you want something extra, you can even visit theApollo 11 landing sitewhere NASA astronauts first set foot on the Moon in 1969.

4Mars
Like the Moon, Mars has a fairly barren surface. If you take a single step outside of Cydonia, it’s red sand and rocks as far as the eye can see. At first glance, there’s not much to look at. However, don’t let the barren nature of Mars deceive you; it’s still an amazing place to take some pictures.
Mars has some fairly interesting topography that makes it an excellent candidate for a photo shoot, and the way the Sun shines through the atmosphere gives photos a distinct visual look that can’t be replicated anywhere else in the game. Also, if you’re looking to take pictures with more historical space exploration artifacts, you can find NASA’s Opportunity roveron the surface abandoned in Martian soil, where it stopped functioning. Make sure to pay Opportunity a visit!

3Gas Giants
Gas giants like Jupiter and Saturn are abundant in Settled Systems. With every new system you’ll travel to, there will likely be a gas giant orbiting that system’s star, and all of these gas giants are absolutely beautiful.

Now, there’s no way to land or walk on these gas giants. They are made of gas after all! However, these gas giants provide the perfect background for some space photography. Snapping some photos of your ship orbiting a gas giant is a great way to provide some visual intrigue to your ship photography, and having photos of the gas giants themselves is undoubtedly worth the trip out to see one.
2New Atlantis
New Atlantis was the first settlement that humanity established after they arrived at the planet of Jemison in 2160. Now, in the year 2330, New Atlantis is a bustling hub of human activity, being home to the United Colonies government and some of the largest businesses in the Settled Systems.
Naturally, with so much time for development, the architecture of New Atlantis has developed to become visually distinct and beautiful. From the foliage and trees littering the city to the giant MAST building jutting into the skyline, New Atlantis has thousands of spots where you can take gorgeous photos.

1Neon City
Neon City oozes with personality, and it’s not unclear to see where it gets its name from. Neon lights flood the city streets, giving the city a distinct cyberpunk aesthetic. Furthermore, it’s almost raining in Neon City, allowing the lights of the city to reflect in rain puddles, which adds to the glow.
Neon City is also host to plenty of cyber-crime, gangs, and nightclubs. If you want some neon-coated pictures with cyberpunks looking cool in the rain, look no further than Ebbside or the Underbelly. And if you’re looking for something a little less wet, you can check out the Astral Lounge for more neon aesthetics and hard-hitting electronic music. For pictures that look like they were taken from Blade Runner, Neon City is the spot for you.
