While Barella’s reach won’t be what wins him many duels, you can at least rely on his ability to constantly track down opposing players.
9TOTW Lautaro Martinez – 88 Overall
Team of the Week Lautaro Martinez gets a decent one-point overall improvement from his base card, which does help to make his card more effective. Lautaro is lacking in Pace but canmake quite an impact off the benchif you’re adept at dribbling between tired defenders.
While he isn’t a one-size-fits-all type of Striker, Lautaro can make a golden opportunity out of relatively small amounts of space. His high Physical attributes allow Lautaro to bully defenders despite his size, and his 88 Shooting ensures your shot has an excellent chance of going in once you’re around the box.
8Theo Hernandez – 85 Overall
On the other side of the coin is Theo Hernandez,one of the fastest players in EASFC 24and a defender who will bail you out of many sketchy situations. While he has no clear weakness, Hernandez’s obvious strong suit is his Pace, which is a large reason why you’ll be using this LB in the first place.
Theo Hernandez’s trifecta of Relentless, Rapid, and Quick Step ensures that you’ll be able to track down any player in the game – so long as you give Theo half a chance to catch up. While his Passing, Shooting, and Defending seem average, lean into Hernandez’s Strength and Sprint Speed, and you’ll see why he’s so good.
7TOTW Paulo Dybala – 87 Overall
Roma’s Talisman, Paulo Dybala is a magician in midfield, particularly with the ball at his feet when he’s called upon to create. You’ll be able to take advantage of numerous fancy shots and passes that Dybala will frequently display due tohis Flair PlayStyle Plus.
In addition, Dybala even boasts six additional PlayStyles, including Dead Ball, Finesse Shot, Trivela and more. These fantastic PlayStyles combine to make Dybala one of the most dangerous players on the pitch, whether you choose to play him at CAM or move him up to Striker.

Wesley Sneijder is another fabulous midfielder you’ll need for your Serie A side, though his Heroes' card is certainly not cheap. Despite the cost, you’ll be wowed by Sneijder’sIncisive Pass PlayStyle Plus, which allows him to play quick passes to teammates.
Sneijder’s buttery smooth Passing is supported by a 90 in its respective attribute, standing clearly above Sneijder’s other abilities as his standout quality. Considering the lack of strong midfielders available in Serie A, Sneijder’s distribution makes him an incredible asset for linking play between offense and defense.
5Heroes Antonio Di Natale – 88 Overall
If you thought you’d have to break the bank to get Sneijder, then you’re going to need a loan if you plan on buying Antonio Di Natale. If you’re lucky enough to pack this Italian Hero, you’ll have dynamic offense in a small package leading your line. At 170 cm (5'7"), Di Natale won’t be able to see over many defenders, but his seeing-eye shots will.
Di Natale touts the exceptionally valuableFinesse Shot PlayStyle Plus, which allows him to take his Finesse Shots significantly faster and makes them more accurate. Factor in Chip Shot, Flair, Trivela, and Pinged Pass, and Di Natale’s full arsenal of offensive weapons speaks for itself.
4RTTK Victor Osimhen – 90 Overall
At a sublime 90 overall, it’s easy to forgive Osimhen’s lack offive-star Skill Moves in his arsenalas his laundry list of other qualities far outweighs that blemish. Osimhen’s incredible 92 Passing and 89 Shooting are sublime, lending plenty of confidence to any shot you take.
Use an Engine chemistry style to bump Osimhen’s Pace, Passing, and Dribbling up, making him even more responsive on the ball, and minimizing his lack of Skill Moves. With Rapid to boost his foot speed, you should be through on goal with Osimhen very often.
3Heroes Claudio Marchisio – 87 Overall
Claudio Marchisio is the prototypical engine midfielder who can play an extremely important box-to-box role, or sit back as a more traditional CDM. The latter is definitely effective as Marchisio’s 80 or above in every attribute makes him exceptionally reliable in midfield.
With a list of PlayStyles that include Long Ball Pass, Intercept, Anticipate, and Press Proven, there are very few defensive midfielders who can enable you to play amezzala-like player in front of them. However, Lucio’sBlock PlayStyle Plusreally makes him shine, allowing him to extend his long reach and improve his ability to block shots. Power Header, Slide Tackle, and Aerial PlayStyles all contribute even further to Lucio’s incredible attribute total. At an unthinkable 91 Defending and 89 Physical, Lucio outshines most other defenders in EASFC 24 and earns the title of best Serie A player.
