These perks focus on the survivor’s strength while giving them extra tools to work around, from getting extra health regeneration to keeping tabs on the Family or going after Grandpa himself. They can boost your survivability while allowing you to adopt risky tactics with a safeguard to keep you on your toes if things don’t go smoothly.
10Choose Fight
Choose Fight is an excellent perk for making the Family lose time and become distracted; the perk will stun family members by an additional two seconds at level one, while at level three, it stuns them for an extra five seconds. That can save teammates from a chase or incapacitate a pursuer while you escape.
By the time they recover, victims will be long gone. It can also work to put pressure on an exit, for you may stun the enemy for long enough to open the door and leave before they can react.

9What Doesn’t Kill You
Makes you stronger. This perk is fantastic when it comes to recovering resources after a fight, for when you avoid being injured by additional damage for 15 seconds, you get 50 percent of the health you lost at level one, and at level three, it gives you all the health you lost back.
While avoiding extra melee attacks can be tricky depending on the Family member attacking you, the perk is impressive to use against Leatherface, who is in every match, and as long as you dodge or use a shortcut to escape getting to the 15 seconds is relatively easy, especially if you start to sprint.

8Fight Back
Fight Back is a good perk when it comes to mutilating the Family’s stamina, as this perk will make it so that after you survive a close encounter, the Family member that fought you will suffer a stamina penalty that makes their regeneration of it 30 percent slower and 15 seconds at level one and 50 percent slower at level three for 30 seconds.
That can make it so that they cannot effectively chase anyone while taking their breath away as they become sluggish and slow in sprinting and melee attacks.

7Radar Detector
Keeping tabs on the Family location is essential to know how to avoid them and when to go for specific objectives. If you are working on a gen or getting an exit opened, you don’t want the Family nearby to ruin your escape plan.

Radar Detector highlights the position of all Family members. At the same time, Grandpa’s Sonar ability is active, turning an unfortunate event into a beneficial one that can empower your stealth while ensuring you get objectives done smoothly. At level one, the perks last for five seconds and come with three charges, while level three has seven charges.
6Well Trained
Well Trained is a great perk to have when it comes to locating tools and bone scraps, as the perk will highlight the location of these after jumping down the well for 10 seconds at level one and 30 seconds at level 3 in a 25m radius. It can be helpful as it saves you time locating resources needed to open doors, ambush the Family members and use objectives and traps.
It can be effective in the late game, too, as sometimes you might need that last one tool to open the door to the basement closer to the basement escape exit, as it gives the Family less time to go turn off the exit before going downstairs to grab you.

Bad Blood is a funny perk because it only becomes effective when you die, so this perk will not help you at all, but it can be rewarding for those would-be “heroes” that want their teammates to survive no matter what. Upon your death, your killer’s damage is reduced by a staggering 30 percent for 120 seconds while they become highlighted in the map for 60 seconds.
At level one, this perk is already extremely brutal on your killer. Still, at level three, it becomes straight painful for them: their damage output is reduced by 50 percent, thus taking away half of their damage which can hurt badly, especially to those Family members with a lot of savagery. As for the highlight, it doubles the time at 120 seconds. While Bad Blood won’t save you, it will ruin one Family member’s day entirely and can give your team a perfect chance at survival.

4Medical Benefits
Teamwork! Teamwork makes surviving the whole ordeal more bearable for the victims, and this perk keeps you and your teammates alive for a while longer. Healing a fellow victim also heals you, and at level one, you will receive 40 percent of the healing; at level three, you will get 80 percent back.

You can share your health regeneration items with your teammates while you also get to enjoy the benefits of it as your health recovers too. The more allies you keep alive, the better chances you all have of escaping, so Medical Benefits is a fantastic perk to bring to the match to boos the whole team’s survival odds.
3Extra Dip
Extra Dip is the best perk for keeping yourself alive, as it gives you additional HP recovery after using a health item. At level one, it grants two HP for eight seconds, while level three gives six HP for 12 seconds. It gives you so much recovery when it comes to your health that even one small vial of healing can suddenly make a huge difference.
The perk can also make it so that you don’t need to use that many healing items to put your HP back to 100 percent, saving those items for later in the match or for teammates that might need them when they are alone after escaping a chase. Empower your survivability with an extra dip in health.

2Stunt Double
Stunt Double is the cooler cousin of Well Trained, as both perks focus on using the well, which is a crucial escape tool for victims to get a brief respite from the Family. This perk is outstanding as it reduces the damage when climbing down the well by a considerable margin, but also it does the same for jumping out of windows. At level one, it reduces the damage by 30 percent, while level three reduces it by 70 percent.
Suddenly, windows now become an attractive means to escape the house in case you don’t find a tool on time or a Family member is chasing you, while the well becomes much more rewarding to use. The perk also makes it so you get back on your feet faster after using either the well or the windows, making you save time and eluding your pursuers more easily.

1No Sell
At the end of the day, you want to survive, and how do you survive? By not getting killed by the Family. No Sell is the business when it comes to keeping you alive, as this remarkable perk makes it so that when you get hit by a Family member, you take 40 percent less damage at level one with one charge, while at level three, you take a staggering 80 percent less damage and have three charges.
No Sell makes you avoid so much damage that it becomes a must-have perk if you want to increase your odds of survival in every match; it can be the difference between surviving an onslaught of the whole Family coming down on you with melee attacks or reaching that exit at the last moment. It will also keep you alive for longer by a vast margin.

The perks in this list will allow victims to become more resourceful and influential in the matches, which should make their escape more likely to succeed. Grab the perks that you consider better suit your play style and keep No Sell as a staple to use at all times or at least something to use when your escapes become less likely.
