Sometimes, you could board an enemy ship or encounter hostile NPCs and even alien wildlife on certain planets, and you wouldn’t have your ship’s massive guns to defend yourself. If you have good weapons on your person, you won’t need your ship’s guns. Here are some of the best handguns to own in Starfield.

10Magshot

The Magshot does an impressive 64 damage whenever it hits a target, and it can hit targets up to 20 meters away and fire at a rate of 25 shots per minute. It has a magazine capacity of six and an accuracy of 62.8 percent.

The Magshot, despite not having any special rarity effects, is undoubtedly one of the better handguns in the game at its base level, and it also has an additional six slots to upgrade and improve it however you see fit. The weapon costs 11,380 credits.

8Sir Livingstone’s Pistol

Sir Livingstone’s Pistol is not a particularly impressive weapon by the standards of some other entries on this list. However, this pistol looks entirely different from the other weapons in the game. It does not resemble the futuristic-themed weapon design style that the game follows and is, instead, just a normal-looking old earth pistol. This makes it unremarkable by player standards, but from a role-playing point of view, it gives the illusion of owning a unique antique. Amidst a field of advanced and futuristic guns, a simple .45 caliber gun looks unique. It also has a fancy name.

7Radburn

The Radburn’s 114 rate of fire and 15 base physical damage are already impressive. When you add the magazine capacity of 12 rounds and 67.9 percent accuracy, you have an awe-inspiring weapon in your hands. The Radburn is at a massive disadvantage due to its limited range of only 20 meters.

However, if you can get within range, this weapon will be worth your time due to the random radioactive damage that it deals to your targets. With these advantages and up to six mod slots, you’d be surprised to find that this weapon will only cost you 3,786 credits.
