After things die down a bit, you can still swing around as the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Men. Just because the story is done doesn’t mean you have to put down the controller. There’s a lot to do in the Big Apple once you’ve saved the city for the umpteenth time. Trophies, photo opportunities, and more await you.

8Keep Protecting New York City

After you beat Marvel’s Spider-Man 2,the big badswill all be gone. The petty criminals, cultists, and symbiotes will still try their hand at disrupting every day life, however. That’s where you continue your work as Spider-Man with both Peter and Miles.

As you swing around the city, the big red exclamation point will still pop up in every district. A random crime event will happen. It is up to you to stop them. This is probably what Spider-Man’s every day life is like when a super villain isn’t on the loose.

7Walk The Streets

The streets of New York City in Spider-Man 2 are filled with pedestrians. It’s quite immersing to wander around and see what everyone is up to. You’ll see bits of road rage and hear interesting conversations between civilians.

During the main story, you definitely won’t have to time to walk the streets. You’ll be busy fighting the likes of Sandman, Kraven, and Venom. It’safter the story is donethat you can truly experience NYC. Go for a stroll, wave to some fans, and see what you can find.

6Try On New Suits

If you’ve beaten the game, then you either have them all or are pretty close to having every suit. Spider-Man 2 has dozens of them for both Peter and Miles to wear. And there’s no way you tried them all out during your initial playthrough.

When you’re swinging around NYC without a care, switch suits frequently. Put on one you didn’t get a chance to wear during the main story. Pick a suit that you weren’t a fan of at first and see if it grows on you. There are a lot of looks you may show off as you stop the remaining crime in the city.

5Finish Side Quests

There are a variety of side quests for both Peter and Miles in Spider-Man 2. These include destroying symbiote nests, infiltrating a cult, and collecting the wide assortment of Spider-Bots spread throughout the city.

You’ll absolutely want to finish the side quest missions that you have left after you beat the game. They provide interesting lore and set up a potential sequel. They’ll even give you new suits, so you can collect each one for both Spider-Men.

4100% Completion

It’s a great feeling to get the Platinum Trophy on a PlayStation 5 game. That means you’ve acquired every trophy, which typically means you’ve completed 100 percent of the game. Trophies aren’t just tied to quests and unlockables in Spider-Man 2.

There are a few trophies that require you to do simple activities.Visit Aunt May’s graveor soar from one district to another with your web wings. Those are just a couple examples, but you get the idea. Unlock all the trophies like a true webslinger should.

3Visit Landmarks

Spider-Man 2 delivers a near true-to-life replica of New York City. Of course, it has the Marvel twists that you won’t find in the real world. That just adds more Easter eggs and exciting discoveries for you to make. Which is why you should spend some time exploring after you beat the game.

You’ve got the Avengers Tower, the Empire State Building, the Raft, the Sanctum Santorum, and so many more landmarks to visit. If you ever visit NYC, you’ll have a blast pointing out locations you’re visiting in-person that you climbed atop as Spider-Man.

2Play It Again

After you beat Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, why not play it again? When you finish its story, you’ll unlock the Ultimate difficulty. Try it out for a true challenge. Or you can simply change the way you play to switch things up on your second go.

The story might be the same, but how you go about it can be completely different. Do side quests early.Wear different suits throughout. Take a different approach to missions, whether that be a physical or stealthy one. There are plenty of ways you may shake up a second playthrough.

1Photo Mode

Photo mode is one of the best things in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. you may make some real art with it. From newspaper images and comic covers to cinematic moments or stills from a fight, the possibilities are endless. It even lets youchoose a suitjust for the image instead of having to change it from the in-game menu.

You’ll have to get the timing right with your images, but after that, how you use the photo mode tool is completely up to you. Just pause the game, enter photo mode, and get to work. There are poses, filters, and a slew of image adjustment options available. It’s an amazing way to keep the game fresh after beating the main story.
