Appearing as one of the playable Victims, Ana is capable of tanking all kinds of damage. Her strong durability makes her the optimal choice for surviving every encounter with the Sawyer family. With Ana’s abilities, you’ll ensure the safety of your allies and a hasty escape.
Ana’s Strengths And Weaknesses
With a strong will and the determination to find her sister, Ana is capable of tanking damage and fighting back against members of the Family. Shehas the highest Toughness stat among all Victims, granting a bigger health bar and faster recovery from attacks.
This stat is further complimented by Ana’s unique abilityPain Is Nothing. While active, this abilityreduces damage taken from attacks and grants immunity to Sissy’s poison.
Hersecond-highest stat is Strength, allowing her to effectively grapple against enemies and perform strong sneak attacks. Strength also makes iteasier to complete physical tasks like opening crawl spaces or disabling generators.
Ana’slowest stats are Proficiency and Stealth. This meansit will take Ana longer to complete more technical taskslike lock picking, pressure valve repair, and gathering bone scrap.
Due to Ana’s Toughness and Strength,it’s best to adopt an aggressive play style when confronted by members of the Family. Leave technical tasks to be completed by Connie or Julie and alsoaim to take hits for weaker Victims like Sonny.
How To Play As Ana
At the start of a game,find a toolbox or bone pile as soon as possible. Since Ana can take more damage, you’re able to afford to make noise by completing these tasks quickly.You are more likely to survive than the rest of your team if Leatherface finds you first, especially with Pain Is Nothing.
Be one of the first people to exit the basement, ready to handle any Family members nearby. While on the surface,focus on finding a tool and fuses for the Fuse Box. The Fuse box is a great escape option for Ana because opening it can’t set off a loud noise.
You can quickly reach the fuse exit in the basement byjumping into a well. You won’t have to worry about Fall Damage thanks to Ana’s high Toughness.
If the fuses are too well-guarded,attempt to go for the valve instead. Collecting a valve is quick, but you’ll need to be wary of the noise you’ll make when attaching it to the pump.
Try totake hits for fellow Victimsescaping with you. A high Toughness stat combined with Pain Is Nothing ensures you’ll both survive.
Best Ana Build
Focus on perks that take advantage of Ana’s Strength and Toughness. Many perks in Ana’s skill tree arecapable of heightening her fighting prowess and survivability.
She also has a few perks that help mitigate the weaknesses imposed by her lower Stealth and Proficiency. However,it’s better to boost Ana’s better stats rather than trying to balance out her lower stats.

Sneak attacks and close encounters will stun Family members for longer, pairs well with Grappler. Allows Ana to win fights easily and escape
Grappler
Button taps are more effectivefor winning struggles. Paired with high strength allows Ana to tear through Family members that try to block her path.
No Sell
A Family member’s attack will do less damagethan normal. The charges for this Perk increase with every level. Bolsters Ana’s defensive capabilities.
What Doesn’t Kill You
Restores health back to youif you avoid being attacked again for 15 seconds. Provides free healing if you can escape a chase, synergizes with Bar Room Hero.
Bar Room Hero
Reduces stun timefrom attacks. Makes it easier to escape chase from Family members.
