No doubt, since its release, you’ve seen plenty of wild creations made inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This can range from simple creations to pet dogs, and even war machines that would violate the Geneva Conventions. However, you don’t need to be a technical genius to get a mech of your own.

Tears of the Kingdom Link At Construct Factory in the depths and Dragonhead Island in the sky, left to right

Hidden until quite late in the story, there is a fifth Sage that can be discovered. This is Mineru, the Sage of Spirit. Unlike all others, though, she lacks a body, instead coming in the form of a Zonai automaton that comes fitted with plenty of modular elements to create the mech of your dreams.

How To Get A Mech

First off, it’s important to note that if you’re following the story, you can’t missMineru and her automaton. In fact, you may even face off against another Zonai mech while chasing down Master Kohga. She is discovered during the aptly namedFinding The Fifth Sage series of quests.

However, you are actually free to uncover her whenever you want if you happen across her. To find her yourself, you musttravel to Dragonhead Island above the Faron Region. It’s the one covered in thunderclouds, making it pretty hard to miss.

What The Mech Can Do

Unlike the other four Sages who have activated abilities, Mineru’s Mech functions quite differently. She acts as a companion in battle like the other Sages, but can also be mounted like a vehicle.

From here, the true potential of Mineru’s Mech is achieved. Many of her abilities are listed below:

As you can see, Mineru is very capable, both as a tool in combat and also in exploring the environment. Her greatest ability is that she can attach just about any single item to herself to amplify her abilities.

Pieces You Can Attach To The Mech

When mounted on Mineru’s mech, you are given to option to activateAttach Mode, letting you attack any surrounding objects to Mineru’s two arms and back. There are very few limits to this, save that the object itself cannot be fused with something already. No giving Mineru ultra-powerful fused weapons.

Most objects willretain their base featureseven when attached to Mineru, so Zora weapons such as theZora Swordwill still get damage boosts when wet and so on.

Even better, Mineru will use whatever you attach to her when acting independently, giving you a fullycustomisable companion.

Listed in the table below isevery Zonai device that has a unique effect when attached to Mineru, both her back and arms.
