Update at 09:58 am EST on July 08, 2025, by Josh Coulson: Nintendo has now confirmed the bundle below is real and that it will be available from July 27, 2025. The bundle was revealed alongside a number of Black Friday deals on Switch games,a selection that includes Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey.
Original story: The holiday season is almost upon us, and it’s set to be a big one forNintendo. Almost definitely the final holiday season during which theSwitchis Nintendo’s newest console - even though there has still been no official confirmation that a replacement is coming - sales of the juggernaut console still refuse to slow down all that much. The success ofSuper Mario Bros. Wonderwill ensure that continues through the end of the year, and Nintendo appears to have a couple of Switch OLED models ready to go just to make sure sales remain high.

Nintendo has already confirmedyet another Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle is coming our way, a holiday tradition by this point, but a leaked image of an alternative OLED bundle has potentially revealed those in the market for a new Switch will have options. Originally posted byDisTrackers, and then shared byWario64, it looks like a newSuper Smash Bros. UltimateOLED Switch bundle will be available soon, and it may well be exclusive to Walmart.
While there was no mention of Walmart exclusivity, there was also no suggestion that the bundle will be available anywhere else. As well as an OLED Switch and a digital copy of Smash Ultimate, the bundle also comes with three months ofNintendo Switch Online, and the Joy-Con included with the console are Smash Bros. themed. A nice touch and personally one of my favored video game-themed Joy-Con designs.
Since the console included with this bundle will be an OLED model, the dock won’t be Smash Bros. themed like the one the Joy-Con it comes with was. The dock in the bundle appears to be the standard black one.
Details on how much this bundle will cost and when it will be released were not revealed in the post. However, it’s probably safe to assume the package deal is going to cost at least $350. TheMario Kartbundle, which also comes with three months of NSO, is $299.99, however, it comes with a regular Switch, not an OLED one, so it’s almost guaranteed the Smash bundle with its upgraded console is going to cost at least $50 more.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nintendo Switch OLED Model Bundle
Nintendo appears to have a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate OLED Switch bundle ready for the holidays. The bundle is rumored to include the console, a digital copy of the game, themed Joy-Con, and three months of NSO.
It’s nice to see Smash getting some bundle love as we near the end of the Switch’s lifecycle. Mario Kart understandably continues to get a lot of attention not only because it’s the best-selling Switch game ever, but also because its DLC run is almost complete as we near the release of wave six. Nothing more will be added to Smash Ultimate, but after selling more than 30 million copies, it is currently the third best-selling Switch game of all time and will get a welcome bump over the holidays if the bundle above is the real deal.
