Much like the real world, seasons come and go in the world ofPaleo Pines. They mirror summer, offer a fall experience, and bring spring – all in their own unique way. There’s dinosaur delight to be had in each one.

They not only bring with them the changing of leaf and plant colors, but dinosaurs may migrate, fruits may be in season, and the sort of plants you find change. In this guide, we’ll show you all the changes each season brings: where dinosaurs have moved to and all the new crops and fruits you can find, so you can make the most of each season.

What Are The Seasons In Paleo Pines?

There are three different seasons in Paleo Pines. There isTriassea, the world’s equivalent of spring-time,Jurassos, the season that mimics our world’s summer, and finallyCretumnus, a fall-like season that brings orange leaves and lots of rain.

What Are The Seasonal Changes In Veridian Valley?

Veridian Valley is the first area you access, and it containsmany common resourcesyou’ll need such asDandelions,Clover, andmany breakable objectsyou’ll need Dino skills to get rid of.

Triassea Season

Many bushes, especially those in thesouthern half of the valley, growCranberrieson them, such as the bushes justoutside your ranchthat sitby the mushroom circle.

Triassea is alsoPearseason, and the Pear trees will drop fruitevery day.One tree can be foundjust outside your ranch, and the other is locatedeast of Mari’s homeby the Wuerhosaurus arebehind a stone fence.

Herbs, a plant liked by dinosaurs that prefer a Spicy flavor, grownear birch trees and sign-postsbutonly during rainy weather.

After opening the pathto Dapplewood Forest, some forest Dinosaurs can be found in Veridian Valley at times, such asOviraptorappearing on thehill east of your ranch.

Baryonyx can also be foundnear the hidden lakenorth of Pebble Plaza in the evening, andCentrosauruscan appear in theclearing near the entrance to DapplewoodForest.

Jurassos Season

Instead of Cranberries,Raspberrieswill begin to grow on bushes, most often on thetops of small hillsin the valley:

Carrotsalso grow in several spots around Veridian Valley, such as near the two birch treesjust off the entrance to your farmand on top of thesmall hill near of Pebble Plaza.

If you’veunlocked the path to Ariacotta Canyon, a singleAllosauruswill begin to spawn in thedesert area east of your ranch.

Two Therizinosauruswill also spawnon the hillblocked by logs that’s justsoutheast of Owynn’s home.

Two Ouranosaurusspawn at the edge of the riversouth of Mari’s homewhere Coelophysis also spawn.

Cretumnus Season

Mushroomsnow spawn in Veridian Valley as well as Dapplewood, and they can be found growing in several spots throughout the valley, such as:

Herbsalso now spawn regularlyregardless of weather,usually at the base of birch trees.

Gallimimuschange locations, and they can now be found in theclearingslightly to thenorthwest of Dapplewood’s entrance.

A new flowering plant,Saffron, begins to grow as well. These light and dark purple flowers can be found all over the valley:

If you’veunlocked the path to Ariacotta Canyon, twoDimetrodonwill replace the Allosaurus that previously spawned in thedesert area east of your ranch.

Apple treesinall three areas on the mapalso begin to regularly drop fruit for you to pick up in Cretumnus.

What Are The Seasonal Changes In Dapplewood Forest?

Dapplewood is likelythe second area you’ll unlock, andyou’ll need to tame a Styracosaurus in order to do it.

you may find avariety of resourcesand new dinosaurs in it, such as the importantForest WoodandMushrooms, which are used in several furniture recipes.

The main seasonal produce you’ll find in Dapplewood areGooseberries, which grow on several bushes around thelower-east section, such as twoon the path into Dapplewoodand down thepathway leading to two Stegosaurus.

TwoWuerhosaurus spawn in thenorthwestern corner of Dapplewood, and two to threeArchaeopteryxwill also spawn justwestof the Wuerhosaurus.

TwoAnkylosauruswill now spawn on theridge blocked off by rocksthat sits directlynorth of Marlo and Pippin’s homes.

Cloveralso grows in Dapplewood during this season, usually onraised ridges, beneath trees or by the rivers.

In Jurassos, Gooseberries are replaced byBlueberries, and they can befound on bushesin several of the same areas, but especially on theraised ridge on the rightof the path leading into Dapplewood, and one bush isnear Agami’s lowermost farm.

Garlic, tall green stalks with a white-ish puff on the top, also begin to grow in several places of Dapplewood, mostly on theeastern side of the area:

Garlic sells for18 Gold alone for zero-star versions, so Jurassos can provideeasyincomeif you collect all the Garlic in Dapplewoodevery few in-game days.

Baryonyxcan be found at thelake at the center of Dapplewoodin the evening,replacing the Megalosaurusthat’s normally there.

After you’veopened the path to Ariacotta Canyon, a singleCarnotauruswill also spawn in thenortheastern cornerof Dapplewood, just above where the Kentrosaurus are found.

Jurassos is alsoPeach season, and all the Peach trees in Dapple such as the onenear Agami’s lowermost farmwill drop fruitevery few days.

Truffles, a new type of mushroom appear assmall mounds of dark-brown dirt. You’ll need to use dinosaurs with theClearer skillsuch asLucky or an Ouranosaurusto dig them up out of the ground.

Blackberriesreplace Blueberries as the bush-based plant of the area, and can be found inmany of the same spotsas both Black and Gooseberries.

Hazelnutsnow regularly grow on Hazelnut Bushes and you’re able to pick off them like berries, mostly in thesouth-eastern quarter of Dapplewood.

Mushrooms also spawn inseveral additional locationsin Dapplewood during Cretumnus, such as nearthe pond where Megalosaurus spawn.

Ginger, a new crop, grows in several locations across Dapplewood, such as on theupper left path that leads to the Stegosaurusor against the small cliff in theriverside area where Archaeopteryx spawn(past the breakable logs).

Megalosaurusspawns change slightly as well: they’ll only appear at the pond atmorning and midday, and they’ll appear where asingular T. rex used to spawnpast the breakable logs in the middle-left area of the map duringevening and night.

What Are The Seasonal Changes In Ariacotta Canyon?

Ariacotta Canyon is thethird and final unlockable area, and you’ll need dinosaurs with theSlasher, Stomper, and Smasher skillsin order toget all the resources you’ll need to restore the entrance to it.

You’ll gain access tonumerous new crops and items, and several more difficult or slower to obtain crops such asTurnipsandGingerwill becomemore easily obtainable.

A group of three to fourStyracosauruscan be found in theclearing east of the entranceto the Canyon,where the T.rex would beduring Cretumnus.

A singlePinacosauruscan be foundon the ridgewhere theAriacotta Windmill overlooks Archeo Pelago.

Velociraptorwill also spawn more frequently during this season in thenorthwestern corner of Ariacotta Dunes.

Chilisgrow on their respective plants every few days, and several plants can be found throughout the Canyon, such as in thesoutheastern corner of the mapwhere a single Allosaurus spawns or on theridge above Ariacotta Duneswhere Protoceratops spawn.

Spiceroot, one of the key crops in Ariacotta Canyon, growsmore frequentlyand inseveral more locationsduring Jurassos, and you can usually find itbeneath trees.

Gingeralsogrows more frequentlyin this season and can be found in additional areas, such asbehind Ariacotta Windmillorbeneath treeslike Spiceroot.

Mangoseason occursduring Jurassos, so all the Mango trees will drop fruitevery few days. One tree can be foundon the ridgewhere Protoceratops arenear Ariacotta Dunesand another tree can be foundnear the Pinacosaurusblocked off by Fiber in thesouthern areaof the Canyon.

Scelidosauruscan now also be found on thenorthern side of Archeo Pelagoin groups of three to four.

Pineapplealso show up in spots across Ariacotta Canyon such as in theravinesyou reach via blocked cave entrances.

Desmatosuchusalso spawn in the Canyon during this season on thenorthernmost path towards Ariacotta Dunes, close to thenorthernmost entrance.

An additionalEuoplocephalusalso spawns in thenorthwest corner of Ariacotta Dunes.

Asingle T. rexspawns in one of theclearings in southern Ariacotta Canyon, justeast of the entranceon the way towards the closest Allosaurus spawn.

Saffrongrowsmore frequentlyand in more spots during Cretumnus, usuallybeneath rock formationsandin small crevices.

Two Postosuchusalso spawn on thenorthwestern pathyou can takeheading to the Ariacotta Duneswhere the Desmatosuchus would be in Jurassos.
