Despite the already impressive roster of characters and all the various weaponry, rings, earrings, and outfits they can wear inSilent Hope, you can make them even more powerful with Magistones. These dungeon drops offer extra abilities, stat boosts, elemental attack and defense skills, and more.
Magistones can be fitted into weaponry to allow your heroes access to elemental attacks, or installed into accessories for defensive Improvement. Collect different Magistones throughout each layer of the Abyss in Silent Hope and sift through them back on the surface before you give them to your seven heroes to help them power up.
Magistones Offer Elemental Damage Or Defense, Depending On How You Use Them
Back at Base Camp, head over to thestorage chestto the left of the Abyss entrance, and you’ll see the option tochange your heroes' gear.
In this menu, when selecting which piece of equipment to give each hero, you’ll have the option toinclude a Magistone in certain weapons or defensive gear. Noteveryitem has this capability, but those that do, you shoulduse the Magistone slots as often as you can.
Installing a stone into aweaponreadily changes thetype of damage your hero is doing, Each of the seven have a primary physical damage type, but you canadd elemental damage to your heroes' strikesto increase your damage output against certain types of enemies.
On the other hand, putting one of the Magistones into eithera ring or pair of earringsinstead offersdefense against that element. For example, installing a Flamestone into a weapon will grant your hero access to fire damage, while that same Flamestone in a ring makes them less susceptible to fire damage themselves.
Check which Magistones your heroes have equipped as you change between layers of the Abyss in Silent Hope, to ensure you’re constantly using the right elements.
Each layer has a bit of crossover, but the majority of enemies in that layer have similar if not identical attacking and defensive properties, which often change dramatically between different layers of the Abyss.
Rarer Magistones May Offer Stat Boosts
Just like the weapon or accessory Mementos you’ll find throughout the Abyss, Magistones haveseveral rarities, following the same color-coding as the Mementos.
These are relatively unpredictable, but two of the same type of Magistone that are both of the same rarity may have completely unique stat boosts, so cycle through your storage to find what’s best for your heroes at that moment.
