There is a lot hiding under the surface here thanks to the Hag’s tricks. Not everything is what it seems and that includes a strange frog, North-East of Auntie Ethel’s Teahouse. The Hag does not discriminate when it comes to who or what she tricks into submission.

When speaking with the Addled Frog, she will be manic and repeat the words “Green leaves, Shallow water…“The frog is under the spell of Auntie Etheland if you keep pestering her,she will attack you.
The Addled Frog will remain calm if you succeed in an Animal Handling skill check and then tell her you will leave her alone.

Should You Fight The Addled Frog?
Don’t be fooled by the Addled Frog’s small and slimy appearance. Initiating combat with her will spell your end if you are not at least Level 3. And it’s easy to get into a fight with the Addled Frog just by pestering her one too many times when the Hag is not dead.
She may be Level 3 with only 12 Health, but her AC and stats make her almost untouchable. Because of this, most attacks against her will have alow hit percentage.
Using spells that cover large areas and stay for the duration of the fight due to concentration will work wonders. Spells such as Cloud of Daggers will work, which can stay put on the frog and do continuous damage regardless of hit rate percentage.
