Commander Masters Booster Boxes

With access to all sorts of unique variants, the Set Boosters are the way to go if you want to show off your luck on stream or with friends. There are multiple rares per pack and a guaranteed foil card as well.

Magic: The Gathering Commander Masters Collector Booster Box

The most expensive Commander Masters product also comes with the most valuable cards inside. The incredibly rare and unique frame break cards are only available through these packs, along with plenty of foils and rares to fill out your collection.

Part of the appeal of Commander Masters is the wide range of collectible cards you can open in the set, particularly those cards that are considered high power or essential cards for many decks. Among the many cards included in a Commander Masters Box you can find:

Not every type of card can be found in every pack (except for Collector Boosters, but those are special), so knowing what you’re getting in each pack type is important.

One of the most important things you’ll want to keep in mind when deciding which Booster Box you want from Commander Masters is what you intend to do with it. Since Commander Masters is designed around the Limited format Drafting, a Draft Box is perfect if you’re grabbing a group of friends or plan on going to an event at your local gaming store.

Draft Packs of Commander Masters are a little different from traditional Magic Draft Packs. Each pack has 20 cards in it, five more than the traditional 15 cards you’ll find in most other packs and a Draft Box contains 24 packs. The higher number of cards here are to help you reach your 60-card minimum for your Commander Deck in this format. Draft packs include:

Draft Booster Boxes are guaranteed to have one foil in them, but don’t have foil-etched, textured foils, extended-art Commanders, or retro lands. You can still open borderless, borderless framebreak, and borderless profile cards, however.

If you’re after one of the fancier cards from Commander Masters, then the Set Booster Box is the way to go. These 15-card packs typically are a little more expensive than their Draft counterparts despite having fewer cards. A box of Set Boosters contains 24 packs, giving you plenty of chances to open something good.

Set Boosters also come with a neat art card which has a chance of being stamped with the artist’s signature in gold ink. Set Boosters will also come with anywhere between one to two traditional foil cards, at least one borderless card, one retro land, and then you have a chance to open either (or both!) a borderless framebreak and a borderless profile card.

Collector Boosters is the only place to find certain card variants and generally has the best chance to open the most value per pack. These boxes only contain four 15-card packs, fewer packs by a lot than the other two types of boxes. If you are looking to fill out a collection or are hunting after a few specific cards, the other boxes might be a better choice.
