Leaving Act 2 and entering the final stretch ofBaldur’s Gate 3can be daunting. As you traverse through Wyrm’s Crossing and Baldur’s Gate itself, you will stumble upon many quest items and strange people. It will be up to you to figure out what to do with these people and items.
The Flowery Key is a unique key you may find in Act 3 that will influence three other questlines in the game. If you are struggling to find what you are supposed to do with this key and where to use it, look no further.

Where To Find The Flowery Key
The Flowery Key isfound on the dead body of an enemyhidden wellaway from the busy streets of Wyrm’s Crossing. To find the key, you will have toenter a hidden cavernthat contains two monstrosities hovering over dead bodies.
You can find this cave byheading north down the rocks and down the beach lineuntil you find aCave Mouthto enter, which will be directly under the overhead bridge.

Another way into this cave is fromthe hatch door in the Open Hand Temple kitchen.This way, you will have to walk through the underground temple.
Pass a Perception check on the Heraldic Signson the walls and interact with them to reveal a hidden room. Use Jump to pass the stone shelving in the south room to enter a cave.

Thepeople in the cave will turn into monstersand initiate a fight. One of them will have the Flowery Key on their body.
One of the normal bodies will contain a quest item,Clown’s Severed Torso.

Where To Find Flaygo’s Flophouse
There is no in-game guidance on what to do with the Flowery Key. You mustexplore the areayourselfuntil you find what you need.
To continue the quest for this key, you must find Flaygo’s Flophouse.
Flaygo’s Flophouse is located directly across from theSouth Span of Wyrm’s Crossingwaypoint. It is a little inn you can enter by heading up the stairs. You will get some XP points for entering the Flophouse as it pertains to the key.
What Do You Do With The Flowery Key?
Once inside, you will want togo up the Flophouse stairsand thenenter the right-hand room. There is a ladder in this room that leads to the attic.
The large dresser against the wall is a hidden passageway that will require the Flowery Key.All you have to do is interact with the dresser, and you will be teleported into a secret room.
There is a table on the right-hand side with some papers on it.Read the Bloodstained Parchment to continue with the quest.
Reading this piece of paper will give youinformation about three different quests:
Flaygo’s Flophouse Rewards
In this secret room, you can lootsome poisonsin one chest andclothingand armorin another. If you walk up to the bed in the corner of the room, your characters will roll a Perception check.
Passing the Perception check will reveal some blood stains under the bed.By passing this skill check, you will find abody hidden under the bedand will be able to pull it out. On the body will bea ring to sell and Ffion’s Key.
Fifon’s Key can be used on the lower floor of Flaygo’s Flophouse, to open a chestfor some more casual loot. Ffion’s Chest is on the second floor where you climbed the ladder. In the left-hand room, where two people are talking among themselves, the chest will sit behind them in a corner.
You shouldcrouch when going for the chestto not alert anyone in the Flophouse, as it is considered stealing.
Ffion’s Chest will containa diary, some gold, a Greater Healing potion, and a bomb.
