Whether you’ve playedDungeons & Dragonsor not, when you hear about the different classes, chances are you probably have a favorite. This could be the one you play the most or just one that you think is the coolest, but almost every player has a favorite. However, what does your favorite class say about you?

Like zodiac signsand personality tests, it probably means whatever you want it to mean. Although, we have the distinct feeling that we could easily guess something about you based on your favorite class in the game. So here is what your favorite Dungeons & Dragons class says about you.

Barbarian

You know that meme that goes"My only tactic is to hit the enemy hard"? Well, that’s you. You’re not one to really go into the details of different tactical movements or the right spells that will trigger the right conditions against your enemies. You’re here for one thing and one thing only: to hit things as hard as you’re able to.

Sometimes you just need to switch your mind off and forget about all the planning. After all, you won’t have to worry about the actions of a dead enemy.

Bard

If you play a Bard, then chances are you like music, likereallylike music. You keep track of all your favorite artists' release schedules, so you know what songs they will play and if they’re on Twitter. You also probablylove other bardslike Scanlan fromCritical Role.

Bottom line is, you have some strong opinions about music, you’re a super fan, and you probably love to sing, even if you’re not great at it (you’ll get there someday).

Cleric

Now hold on, just because your favorite class is a Cleric doesn’t mean we’re accusing you of always being the designated healer when you play games with your friends or anything like that. But you have to realize that Cleric is one of the best healers in the game.

Even when you swear you’ll try something different, like being more martial or tanky, you end up having to help out those around you. This class is for those who like to feel useful and always know they’re contributing something to their friend groups.

Druid

For Druids, you absolutely loved Ben 10. You thought he had the coolest power (and you’re right), but not only that, even if you didn’t watch Ben 10, you definitely love Beast Boy from Teen Titans. To you, the Omnitrix is one of the coolest devices ever, and Beast Boy’s powers are stronger than most people know.

Now, whether they’re your favorite or not is hard to say, but more than likely, you just found their powers really cool, and Druid is the closest you’ll get to having similar powers.

Fighter

If your favorite class is a Fighter, you probably get accused of picking the more boring or neutral options in life. However, it’s not that you’re boring; you just know exactly what you want.

Things like bread or pasta are boring on their own, but the things we add make them more exciting. That’s the same way with you and Fighters. You are able to turn what looks like a boring class into a great character. Besides, Fighters are pretty good at knocking things down, so you’ll definitely surprise people with just how great you can be.

Monk

Look, it was eitherMirror’s EdgeorDishonored; for you, it was probably both. Safe to say, if the Monk is your favorite class, then you definitely partially like it due to the parkour possibilities that come with the class. After all, they’re naturally good at skills like Acrobatics and are the fastest class in the game.

You probably used to watch those first-person free-running videos on YouTube anddefinitely tried speedrunning Mirror’s Edgeat some point. To be honest, you probably tried to do parkour in real life, too.

Paladin

Have you ever been told that you’re stubborn? Well, if you prefer the Paladin, then you definitely are, but hey, that’s not a bad thing! Where one person sees stubbornness, another sees conviction, and it’s not to say that you’re unmoving when it comes to your ideas, but you’re more so just someone who sticks to their guts.

Much like a Paladin’s Divine Sense, you’re also known for having a reliable gut feeling when it comes to stuff, and so you trust your gut as much as a Paladin trusts the divine.

Ranger

Although the class has taken strides when it comes to improving itself from its debut, it still doesn’t tend to be a favorite amongst most. But if it is your favorite, it’s likely because, one, you love bows and think they’re the coolest weapons ever (you’re right).

And two, you love Lord of the Rings and make an effort to remind people that Aragorn is a Ranger (once again, you’re right). If you haven’t watched Lord of the Rings and your favorite class is a Ranger, go watch it.

Rogue

It’s one thing to have your favorite class be a Barbarian, someone who just loves to hit things. But it’s another when your favorite class is a Rogue, because you just love this class because of the damage output.

You may be the type who calculates the average amount of damage different classes and subclasses can do and know that unanimously, the Rogue tends to take it with their Sneak Attack damage. Every time you roll those extra dice, you enjoy it, and it’s a highlight of every session to land a critical hit against your foes.

Sorcerer

If you love the Sorcerer, then you for sure have a favorite X-Men, and seeing as you like it so much, it’s probably not something generic like Wolverine. No, you definitely have checked out the X-Men comics and probably grew up on the cartoons, and you defend the 2000s films like it’s a job.

Sorcerers being born with innate magical power becomes a central theme for your characters, too, and you just love the trope so much and experimenting with it. You also really have a thing for tragic backstories.
