Gathering materials is a big part of theGenshin Impactgameplay and Regional Specialties are some of the most sought after materials in the game, given that they are uniquely important for character ascension. The Rainbow Rose is one such specialty, a key ingredient in ascending characters like Lyney.
This flower, said to represent passion and romantic encounters, does not grow by itself in the wilderness; it can only be found near areas where there is human activity, as it requires adequate care. You will mostly find these lovely flowers in cities or small clusters of houses. We have separated them by area for easy navigation.
Some markers in the maps show the location ofmore than one Rainbow Rose, in all cases where they’retoo close to each other to mark them separately.
Rainbow Roses in The Court of Fontaine
The biggest concentration of Rainbow Rosesin the entire map is in the Court of Fontaine Region, and they arespread out over a couple areas. For instance, there are few you can findjust outside the city itself.
To find and gather these, you may begin byheading to the second floor of the Court Region Waterway Hub, from where theClementine Line Aquabus departs. The easiest way to get there is tofast travel to the Teleport Waypoint above Vasari Passage, then head downthrough the square and into the building.
Use the elevator toget to the second floor. It will be labeled 2F: Clementine Line. This is theonly route between the Romaritime Harbor and the Court of Fontaine, and is thus theonly way to get out of the city through its Southeast gate.
Follow the Aquabus WaterwaySouth until you reach that large gate-like structure, the one thatlooks to be on a small island. Glide down onto that very island and you will findseven Rainbow Roses in the grass there, all within a few steps of each other.
You can also use the Aquabus to travel there, but that will besignificantly slower than using the waterway to swim or sprint there.
The area behind the main city, to the Northwest of the map, is specially dotted with Rainbow Roses, too. They can be separated into two smaller areas that are both accessible through a nearby Teleport Waypoint.
To gather them, you maystart by heading to the Teleport Waypoint located West of the city, from where you can headfurther West, with a slight inclination North, to findthree Rainbow Rosesby a cart and a gazebo.
Then,head down the slope. Go Northeast towards thenext three Rainbow Roses, you will find themsurrounding a large bush.
There aretwo more a little further East, next to more bushes.There is an Ousia Block by these.
Next,go down the slope again, leaning East towards the Aquabus Waterway. You will findone Rainbow Rose nearly under it, near the four-leaf clover pinwheels.The last one you will find in this areais parallel to that location,right by the dirt road.
To get the remaining Rainbow Roses in this area of the map, head to the Teleport Waypoint located Northwest of the city.You may walk straight to the dirt road, as following along it willmake it easier to find the area with the Rainbow Roses.
You can seemost of the Rainbow Roses from this path, except the Northmost one, which is fairly concealedby the edge of the mountain.
There aresome Dendro Slimesall along this road thatwill attack you while you try to pick upall the flowers.
Rainbow Roses in Marcotte Station
There are five Rainbow Rosesyou can collect in Marcotte Station;three North of the Teleport Waypoint, and three South of it.
The order in which you choose to collect them is irrelevant. In both cases, you will have toclimb over the Marcotte Station railing. The Rainbow Roses will begrowing very near the station, though.
Rainbow Roses In The Fountain of Lucien Area
Fast Travel to the only Teleport Waypointin this area and headforth along the path, which will be Southwest. Then,take a left down the walkway. You will be able to collectthree Rainbow Roses on this side.
Next, justcontinue towards the other sideof the walkway to collectfive more Rainbow Roses.
Then,jump over the railingand head further Northwest to finda lone Rainbow Rose growing outsidethe confines of the area.
Rainbow Roses in Dyas Wood
There areonly four Rainbow Roses in this area, all of which are easily accessible bytraveling along the dirt roadall the way to the house up the slopefrom the Teleport Waypoint near the Mary-Ann memorial.
Two of them areright on each side of the front of the house.
The last oneis right by the small pond North.
Rainbow Roses In The Old Fontaine Institute Area
These otherfour Rainbow Roses are all right by a Teleport Waypointin the Fontaine Research Institute of Kinetic Energy Engineering Region. To collect them, youjust need to fast travel there.
Head down off the edgeand you will seeone Rainbow Rose by a tree. That is the easiest one to miss out of the four.
Next,head North by a few stepsto find another one.
Return for the last two by heading South. First, towards the East, away from the Waypoint. Then, West, closer to it.
These Rainbow Roses are a mere few steps away from each other.
Rainbow Roses In The Belleau Region
There area total of nine Rainbow Rosesspread over two locationsin the entirety of the Belleau Region.
Five of them can be found on the West Slopes of Mont Automnequi. The closest point is the Teleport Waypoint, though that is still quite far.You will have to walk Southuntil you reach the very edge of the mountain.They are plainly visible as you approach the edge.
These are some of the only Rainbow Roses that are not directly by some sort of human-made structure.
The remaining four are on an islandbetween the West Slopes of Mont Automnequi and the Romaritime Harbor. You caneither swim there or drop down from the Aquabus Waterway.
There are someHilichurls and Fontemer Aberrantson this little island.
Rainbow Roses In The Beryl Region
The last siteswhere you will find Rainbow Roses are in the Beryl Region. Luckily,both spots are easily accessibledue to the proximity of botha Teleport Waypoint and a Statue of the Seven.
You may begin to gather the Rainbow Roses in this area byfast traveling to the South-most Teleport Waypoint in this region.
There isa house just East of the Waypoint, where you will findseven Rainbow Roses scattered about.
Approach from the West;the first Rainbow Rose is parallel to the Waypoint.
Then, head towardthe back of the house to collect the next one, and a few stepsSouth for a third Rose.
You canfind the remaining fourin front of the house,between it and another smaller structure that looks like a barn.
There aretwoSpecialist Clockwork Mekaguarding this house. You will run into them as you approach the front.
Next, fast travel to theStatue of the Seven in Elynas.
Head Southwest from there and you willquickly find a small ruined structure; something that looks like it might have been a house at some point.There are six Rainbow Roses in this area, all you need to do to find them iswalk around the ruin in a circle.
Go back to the statue and head Westnow along the dirt path. You will run intothree ruin columns a few steps from one anotheralong this road, and you will finda Rainbow Rose by each; there are three total.
Finally walk to the end of the path and then climb uptowards the ruin that looks like a door to pick up the final two Rainbow Roses.
