During your adventures in this region, you’ll encounter opportunities to unlock the mysterious Sumeru Shrines of Depths. Dotted across the region’s diverse terrain, these clandestine sanctuaries yield an array of valuable loot, such as Adventure Rank EXP, rare elemental Sigils, and Primogems.

How To Get Sumeru Shrine Of Depths Keys
The challenge in navigating these Shrines of Depths begins even prior to finding their locations — for many Travelers, simply securing the keys that unlock these Shrines can be a difficult task in and of itself.There are a total of ten keys for the Sumeru Shrine of Depths, and they can be acquired in two ways:
Tree Of Dreams Method
You will receive one key each upon reachinglevels eight, 18, 28, and 38 of the Tree of Dreams.To level up,explore the Land of Wisdom and collect Dendro Sigils, which can then be offered to the tree.
Statue Of The Seven Method
Earn one key each by reachinglevels two, four, six, eight, nine, and ten on the Sumeru Statue of the Seven.To do so,gather Dendroculus scattered around the Sumeru regionand offer them to the statue.
How To Use Shrine Of Depths Keys
Using a Shrine of Depths key is simple. After locating a Shrine of Depths that aligns with the specific key you possess, simply interact with the Shrine once you’re standing in front of it, and then press ‘Confirm’. This will unlock the Shrine and grant access to the Luxurious Chest within.
Each Shrine willreward the player with the following:
Be aware thateach Shrine is a unique, one-time resource;once it is opened with a key,the chest will not respawn.
Each region will have its own respective key,differentiated by colors. Cyan for Mondstadt, yellow for Liyue, purple for Inazuma, lime green for Sumeru and dark blue for Fontaine.
Sumeru Shrine Of Depths Locations
There are atotal of ten Shrines of Depth throughout Liyue that you can unlock.To help you find them, we have marked them on the maps below:
We have also included any information that you may need when trying to reach the shrines.
Shrine Of Depths 1
For the first Shrine of Depth, teleport to the Waypoint located to thesouth of the Ruins of Dahri.
Once there, glide north, where you’ll soon see your first shrinepositioned on the outskirts of the ruins.
Shrine Of Depths 2
You’ll want to make your way to theTeleport Waypoint that’s situated on a hill northwest of Port Ormos.
Look east, and there’s your second shrine right in front of you,complete with a Seelie hovering nearbyas if inviting you to unlock the mysteries within.
Shrine Of Depths 3
To reach the third Shrine of Depths in Sumeru,make your way to the Chatrakam Cave Teleport Waypoint. From there,start heading downhill toward Sumeru City.
Look out for nearby Fatui, the shrine will be close to them (specifically an Electro Cicin Mage, a Sumpter Beast and a Mirror Maiden).
Shrine Of Depths 4
For the fourth Shrine of Depth,teleport to the Waypoint west of Vanarana, which is also southwest of the Jadeplume Terrorshroom world boss.
Once you arrive,head southeast down the slope.
Shrine Of Depths 5
You have two options to locate the fifth Shrine of Depth. Either make your wayeast from the tunnels where the Setekh Wenut boss residesor teleport to theWaypoint near Yasana Monumentand glide west.
Shrine Of Depths 6
Nestledunderground between the Dune of Magma and Dune of Elusionin the Sumeru Desert, getting to this shrine won’t be a walk in the park.
Prepare for adifficult winding trek through underground cavernsand make sure you’ve got the Scarlet Sands Slate in hand forclearance to Khemenu Temple’s restricted area.
Shrine Of Depths 7
The seventh Shrine of Depths can be reached in two ways: you can eitherjourney southeast from the Sobek Oasis Waypointor make your waynorthwest from the Statue of the Seven near the Valley of Dahri.
Shrine Of Depths 8
Teleport to the Fane of Panjvahe Domainsituated in the Sumeru Desert, thenmake your way northwestto uncover the eighth Shrine of Depth.
Shrine Of Depths 9
Head to theWaypoint situated to the east of the Wounded Shin Valleyand then simply look around to spot the Shrine.
It’ll be on the other side of the Wounded Shin Valley. Head downhill until you’re able to glide across, and then proceed from there.
Shrine Of Depths 10
The final Shrine of Depths is conveniently situated near theWaypoint to the west of the Asipattravana Swamp.Upon arriving, walk uphill in the direction of the Hillichurl camp.
You’ll then want to make a right turn and head further uphill in a winding path until you come face-to-face with the final shrine.
All Sumeru Shrine Of Depths Achievements
Unlocking these shrines will not only grant you Luxurious Chests filled with rewards but also help you complete a total of four Achievements related to Sumeru Shrines. The Achievements include:
