Starfield, much like other modern Bethesda Game Studios fare, offers a variety of places for players to call home. Indeed, you may collect them all, if you so desire, or find the perfect spot and make it your one true residential love. There’s no earlier spot for a fresh new stomping ground than New Atlantis, capital city of the United Colonies, though they won’t let just anybody settle in.

Here’s where you’ll find Aphelion Realty - the business you must work through in order to procure a home - and what exactly you’ve got to do before they’ll give you the time of day on the matter.

Where Is Aphelion Realty?

This probably goes without saying, butAphelion Realty is in New Atlantis, on the planet Jemison. You’ll arrive here for the first time hardly an hour into Starfield’s sprawling story, and there’s a good chance you’ll get wrapped up in all sorts of quests before heading out on your first big Constellation mission with Sarah.

We advise you to explore to your heart’s content, since you’ll be coming back to New Atlantis fairly regularly. Think of it as the Whiterun of the game, for all you Skyrim players out there. Anyway, head to the MAST Districtvia the city’s tram-based fast travel system. MAST itself is that gorgeous sci-fi-esque structure, wherein lies the heart of United Colonies government and military affairs.

We’re not headingthere, since it’d be a touch odd if a realtor shared their office space with the president of the colonies. Instead, look for the war memorial, a somber, candle-lit spot near the center of the districtdedicated to remembering the heroes who gave their lives during the Colony War. (Well, the heroes on the UC side, in any case.)

Aphelion Realty is right nearby. Depending on your angle, there’s a decent chance youwon’tsee a sign with its name, so just step inside anyway. Odds are good you’ll be right where you ought to be.

How To Get A Home On New Atlantis Via Aphelion Realty

Knowing the location of Aphelion Realty will serve you well in the long run, but if you’re just starting off in Starfield, the receptionist won’t think much of your visit. That’s becauseonly United Colonies citizens are permitted to purchase a home in New Atlantis, and even if you choose the United Colonies Native trait, you still won’t be eligible. Talk about some serious red tape.

Within the lore, there are various ways of becoming a UC citizen; within the confines of the game itself, the one path to UC citizenship involves the full completion of the UC Vanguard faction questline. You’ll begin this byspeaking with Commander Tuala again after Sarah introduces you to himbefore the story prompts you to depart the planet with her.

You will need to have entered the Lodge before this, after which Sarah will decide to accompany you. An early objective on this quest is, indeed, when you will be formally introduced to Commander Tuala.

The UC Vanguard quests are long and plentiful, but - in our opinion! - highly entertaining. In fact, homeownership in the United Colonies is more like the proverbial icing atop a cake of good storytelling. Still, it’s darn good icing, and now that you know where Starfield is hiding Aphelion Realty, you can eat it up as soon as possible.
