As you explore the world ofPaleo Pinesand learn the lore of the world, you’ll often come across relics of the past, places with a long history, and impressive natural structures made over centuries. These are called Natural Features, and they range from crystal clusters to unique rock formations, and they can be found all over Paleo Pines.

Some Natural Features can be found easily, but others are hidden behind debris or tucked into places not so easily discovered. In this guide, we’ll show you just how to find all these beautiful, nature-made works of art, and how to get some extra lore on how they came to be.

All Amethyst Locations

Amethyst is likely the firstNatural Featureyou’ll come across. They appear astall clustersofpurple crystals, and you can find them across bothVeridian ValleyandDapplewood Forest.

There’s atotal of sevenof them across both areas: two in Veridian Valley and five in Dapplewood Forest.

IneastVeridian, between your farm and Owynn’s home.

From your farm,head north along the tree lineuntil you reachtwo large, brown treeswith a set ofbreakable logsbetween them. Break through, thenfollow the path up and arounduntil it splits left and right.Go right,and the Amethyst is inbetween several trees.

Dapplewood Forest

InsouthDapplewood,near the entranceto the forest.

From the entrance,head north,then rightup the slopeand onto the ridge. It sits on thesouthern endof it, next to several bushes.

4th Amethyst

5th Amethyst

From the entrance, head north andacross the stone bridge to the westor through the Fiber blockage in theclearing south of Agami’shome. Head north up the side path, and it sitsnext to a large treein the clearingwhere three Therizinosaurus spawn, past a set of breakable logs.

You’ll need a dinosaur with theStomper skillto break the logs,such as an Ankylosaurus.

6th Amethyst

7th Amethyst

In theupper eastarea of Dapplewood, on aridge blocked by rocks.

From the entrance,head northinto the center of Dapplewood then takethe eastern paththat runs closestto the top of lake. On your left will be astone wall, blocked off bybreakable Stones. Smash through them and the Amethyst isup on the ridge near two Fiber bushes.

Smasher

All Wisdom Quartz Locations

Wisdom Quartz are another type oftall crystal cluster, but they appear aswhite-and-gray crystalsinstead, and you’ll find them in bothVeridian ValleyandDapplewood Forest.

There’s atotal of fourof them across both areas: two in Veridian Valley and two in Dapplewood Forest.

1st Wisdom Quartz

West of Mari’s tree house, near theedge of the map. Sits in between a few hills and isblocked offby a set ofbreakable logs.

Can be accessed by asecond path. Start from the clearingeast of Dapplewood’s entrance, thenhead up the hill, and finallyhead right and downbetween the hills.

2nd Wisdom Quartz

East of your farm’s entrance, in the desert area next to the path toAriacotta Canyon. Sitsagainst the cliffwallbehind several layers of Fiber plants.

You’ll need a Dinosaur with theSlasher skilland afair amount of staminato break through all the Fiber, likea Stegosaurus.

3rd Wisdom Quartz

Directlysouth of Granny Agami’s farm, in the clearing where Centrosaurus spawn. It sitsoff to the rightinbetween several treesand near the river.

4th Wisdom Quartz

IneasternDapplewood, next to alarge tree on a ridgeoverlooking theeasternmost dirt pathwhere Kentrosaurus spawn.

From the entrance,head north and then east, following alongthe dirt path. Gopast Marlo and Pippin’s homesand aroundbehind themonto thelower of the two ridges. It sits next to a giant tree and several rocks.

All Basalt Locations

Basaltaredark, octagonal rockformations that come in massive clusters of rocks of varying heights. You’ll often find themagainst other large rocksor against the sides of cliffs inVeridian ValleyandAriacotta Canyon.

There’s atotal of fourof them across both areas: two in Veridian Valley and two in Ariacotta Canyon.

1st Basalt

East of Mari’s tree house, near the edge of the map. Sitsbehind a stone wallwhere Wuerhosaurus spawn,blocked by breakable logsand near a pear tree.

2nd Basalt

Ariacotta Canyon

South of Archeo Pelago, upon a hillagainst the cliff wall.

From theentrance to Ariacotta Canyon, head northpast the Sandstone rocks, and headup the hillinstead of towards the town.

The most direct path to Archeo Pelago and the Basalt isblocked off initially, so you’ll need a Dinosaur with theSmasher skill,like a Styracosaurus, to break them.

3rd Basalt

In the center of Ariacotta Canyon,down within a ravine.

To get to it, you’ll need to head to thesoutheastern corner of the map, where the single Allosaurus spawns, andhead through the caveblocked by Fiber plants.

4th Basalt

On thenorthern end of Archeo Pelago, up a small hill.

From the entrance,head northpast the rock formations andinto Archeo Pelago. Take thecircular pathwest until you come upon the hillwhere the Basalt is.

All Citrine Locations

Like Amethyst and Wisdom Crystals, Citrine are also a type of crystal, but they come in abright orange color. They’re alsoonly foundwithin Ariacotta Canyon.

1st Citrine

2nd Citrine

In thesoutheastern cornerof Ariacotta Canyon, near alarge, pink tree.

From the entrance,head all the way eastthrough two clearings, thensouthto where a single Allosaurus spawns. It sits at theend of the area,behind a few breakable Sandstone rocks.

3rd Citrine

In themiddleof Ariacotta,along the dirt pathto the west.

From the entrance, take thedirt path to the west, and goacross the stone bridge. The crystals sit a nooknext to a Dreamstone clusterand several cacti where two Dimetrodon spawn.

4th Citrine

In theupper middlearea of Ariacotta, along thetopmost path.

From the entrance,head westandcross the stone bridge, following the path until itveers off to the right. Follow thenon-marked path to the northand around until you see the Citrineagainst a large rock formation.

All Limestone Locations

Limestone appears aslarge, almost oval rocksthat are layered against each other, and you’ll find themajority of themin Dapplewood Forest.

There’s atotal of fourof them: one inVeridian Valleyand three inDapplewood Forest.

1st Limestone

Ineast Veridian, justdown from the windmilland near theedge of the map.

From your farm,head northtowards Owynn’s house, thengo eastdown the dirt path. Beginheading south once you reach the windmillon the map,go around the unclimbable hill,and it’ll benear the riverand a single Postosuchus, andacross from desert cliff.

2nd Limestone

In themiddle southwestern areaof Dapplewood, near alake with a waterfall.

From the entrance, head north andthen west over the stone bridge, and down towards the Stegosaurus. Take thepath leading back northwest, break the logs, and follow it past the Therizinosaurus.Head southto where a T.rex spawns, and it sitsagainst the side of the cliff.

3rd Limestone

Ineastern Dapplewood, near thefallen log bridge.

From the entrance,head north then take a rightand go all the way east to thelarge circular path. Head northacross the log bridgeinto the clearing, and the Limestone will beagainst a rocky hill.

4th Limestone

InnorthernDapplewood,near the riverat the edge of the map.

From the entrance,head northandfollow the pathto theeast. There’s anunmarked paththat goesdown along the riveron your left.Take that pathand follow it, and the Limestone is on the leftnear the endof it.

How To Unlock Lore For Natural Features

Once you meetZaraand help herrestore the entrance to Ariacotta Canyon, you’ll find herin the town ofArcheo Pelagoonmost days.

Talk with Zara, and after your first conversation, you’ll be able toreport all your discoveriesto her, including Natural Features. She’ll eithertell you the lore directlyoradd the lore to your journalin their respective entries.
