Blasphemous 2has a great deal of sub-quests and tasks to complete, with tracking down five Bedridden Daughters and Candle Rooms being one of the more involved, as they lead to short Battle Challenges that payout with exceptional rewards.

While the rooms where the Daughters and Candles reside are tricky to find, the Battle Challenges can be even more tasking. However,getting your hands on valuable AtlarpiecesorHealing Upgradeswill make all your efforts, time, and sanity feel more than worth it, especially if you want to see everything this game offers.
Daughter & Candle Room One Location/Reward
Thefirst roomcontaining one of theBedridden Daughters and a Candlecan be found in theGrilles and Ruinregion. To get to this room, head to theeastmost Prie-Dieuand take theexit directly to the leftof it.
From here,jump onto the elevated ledge slightly to the left, then leap from there into the top right cornerof the area toreveal a room above where the Prie-Dieu is.Enter the room to find thefirst Daughter and Candle!
Battle Challenge One Reward
After finding the first Daughter and Candleroom, you canreturn to the room just to the right of the Prie-Dieu in the Streets of Wakesandinteract with the bedto begin thefirst Battle Challenge.Defeating the waves of enemies will grant you theTirso Altarpiece of Favour.
TheTirso Altarpiece raises your Damage Output by ten percent while your HP is full,which may prove beneficial in the early to mid-game regions and encounters!

Daughter & Candle Room Two Location/Reward
Oursecond room,holding aBedridden Daughter and a Candle,will be located within theElevated Templesdungeon. First, head to thePrie-Dieu in the northwest section directly to the left of the Chapel of the Five Dovesarea.
Next,head two rooms over until you are in the enormous room filled with ladders, Statues, and lifts.Make your way to thetop right of this area where the Statue is,anddestroy any Contraption you come across on your way,as they will drop ladders and create valuable shortcuts.
Activate the Statue and raise the Lift to the top of the shaft,then stop using the Statue. From here,head to the left, drop down the ladder, and take a right.Quickly switch to theRuego Al Alba, jump underneath the Lift, and perform a downward slam.
You willdestroy a breakable wall to the rightif done correctly, revealing a new room.Enter this room to find the second Daughter and Candle!
Battle Challenge Two Reward
If you want, you canreturn to the room to the right of the Prie-Dieu in the Streets of Wakesto take on thesecond Battle Challenge,which will be astep up in terms of challenge from the first.Nonetheless,clearing every wavewill reward you withThe Thirst Altarpiece of Favour.
The Thirst Altarpiecewillraise your Damage Output by 20 percent if you’ve consumed all your Bile Flasks,making it an excellent way to pull off clutch situations or attempt getting the This Is Blasphemy Trophy/Achievement!
Daughter & Candle Room Three Location/Reward
Room number three,with aBedridden Daughter and a Candle,will be located in thenortheastern portionof theCrown of Towersdungeon. However, before reaching her,you willneed the Mercy of the Wind Ability(Air Dash) to pass through the blue chain.
With that Ability obtained, make your way to thetop right of the dungeon,thenjump toward the left and use your Air Dash to pass through the blue chain.Onceon the other end, you will notice a Statue,but there willalso be a room behind it.
Enter the room behind the Statueto reveal thethird Daughter and Candle.Don’t forget tointeract with the Candle to extinguish its flame before moving onto the Battle Challenge or the next Daughter and Candle!
Battle Challenge Three Reward
Like the others, you can either hop directly into the next Battle Challenge or find the next Daughter and Candle. If you choose to take on thethird Battle Challenge,you will berewardedwith anEmpty Receptaclefor your efforts.
Afterreceiving the Empty Receptacle,take it to theBlood Upgrade ladyin theCity of the Blessed Name,who will provide you with anadditional Bile Flask!
Daughter & Candle Room Four Location/Reward
Thepenultimate room,containing aBedridden Daughter and a Candle,is located in the dauntingBasilica of Absent Facesdungeon near thenortheast corner.However,you willneed the Scions' Protection(Angel Rings)and Mercy of the Wind(Air Dash)Abilitiesto reach the room.
After obtaining these Abilities, go to thetop right portion of the dungeonanduse the Angel Rings on the righthand side to ascend higherthrough the room,using your Air Dash to pass through the blue chains when neededandcontinue following the Angel Rings to the top rightcorner.
There will be aContraption in the top right cornerof the room.Jump from the Angel Ring and give it a smack with a weapon to destroy it,causing thegate on the lefthand side of the room to open.Drop down towhere the first Angel Ring was and head directly across from itto reach the opened gate.
Enter the roomto find thefourth Daughter and Candle,making sure youinteract with the Candle to blow it out,enabling you to take on the fourth Battle Challenge!
Battle Challenge Four Reward
Taking on thefourth Battle Challengewill bepretty unbearable,so be prepared for everything but the kitchen sink on this one. Fortunately, your time and efforts will be worthwhile, as you willobtainanOrnate Chaliceafter successfullydefeating all the waves of enemies.
After pocketingtheOrnate Chalice,return to theBlood Upgrade ladyin theCity of the Blessed Nameand give it to her tohave yourMaximum Health permanently increasedby+30!
Daughter & Candle Room Five Location/Reward
Finally, ourlast room,containing aBedridden Daughter and a Candle,is found in theSunken Cathedraldungeon but requiresa few prerequisitesbeforehand. First,you willneed the Scions' Protection Ability(Angel Rings). Secondly, you will have tostart from The Severed Towerdungeon.
So,head to the bottom-most Prie-Dieu of The Severed Towerandhead to the floor directly aboveit. Once here,head two rooms over to the right to discover a shortcut connecting The Severed Tower and Sunken Cathedral.
Once here, you willnotice an Angel Ring in the Sunken Cathedralsection.Jump onto it, follow them to the right,andhave the last one fly you toward a Mirror on the right.With yourSarmiento & Cenelle(Rapiers) equipped,jump from the Angel Ring and hit the Mirror.
This willturn you into a streak of lightning and send you hurtling toward a Contraptionin theupper right cornerof the area.Hit the Contraptionwith a weapon toopen a gate near the bottom left areaof the room you’re currently in.
Enter this roomto reveal thefifth and final Daughter and Candle,interact with the Candle toextinguish its flame,and then prepare yourself for thelast Battle Challenge!
Battle Challenge Five Reward
Ourfifth and final Battle Challengeis just anonslaught of the most formidable and annoying foesyou can face in Blasphemous 2, so prepare yourself for everything and anything. However, your efforts will be more than worth it, as you willobtaintheLebeche Altarpiece of Favour.
TheLebeche Altarpiecewillincrease your Critical Chance by ten percent,but itsbest feature is it is one of four Altarpieces neededto unlockEnding A,the game’s ‘true’ ending!
