Foraging, Explained
As you go about your daily life in Fae Farm,completing quests for the localsorexpanding your Homesteadslowly but surely, you’ll definitely noticeassorted plants on the ground. These are the game’sforaging items, and picking them up will directly boost your farmer’sForaging skill.
Foraging items can beany kind of plantyou see out and about, but they’ll primarily beherbs, berries, shells, mushrooms, flowers, and more, depending on where you are. When something is a collectible, you’ll see the option topick it up as your farmer runs over it. Simply collecting these items from the ground boosts the skill, as doeschopping down grasses with your Scythe.
Additionally, yourforaging items are useful in recipesof all kinds -primarilyFood and Drink, but they can also be processed forassorted Potion recipes. The items you’ve collected will be tracked in theForagetab of the Almanac.
These itemscycle in and out seasonallyas you progress through the game, so be sure to collect everything you’re able to, while you can!
