As part of The Ancient Palace investigation, you will hunt down the Tha’abeen, who are all members of the shadowy cabal known as The Order. Each one of these members holds a Mysterious Shard. As is always the case inAssassin’s Creed Mirage, no bloody deed goes unrewarded. These shards are your ticket to some of the best weapons in the game!
We’ll show you how to track down all the members of The Order and claim your prizes. Things are atouchtrickier this time around, as these collectibles are on the move. But worry not, that will only be a minor bump in the road to your glittering treasures!
Unlocking The Ancient Palace Investigation
During the course of the story,you will track down Nehal in Anbar. Once you do, you will be able to Investigate the Northern Oasis.You will find the Northern Oasis east of Anbar.
Once you arrive at the oasis, dive into the lake, and you will find a chamber hidden underneath. Here there will be three treasures, each with their own Mysterious Shard price associated with them.Once you have found the chamber, you will be able to locate The Order members holding the Mysterious Shards.

Confronting The Tha’abeen
As we indicated in the intro, one of the quirks you’ll encounter while hunting down the Mysterious Shards is that, unlike every other collectible in the game,the shards don’t stay in one place. Each member of The Order carrying them will, instead, follow a set path.So, when outlining their locations, we’ll tell you the region you’ll encounter them in, as well as provide you with a specific location that they will pass by.
The best thing to do is send Enkidu out to scout.Once they have been spotted by your trusted eagle, you will permanently have their location, making them easy to track from that point onward.
It is worth noting thatsome of these Shard-carriers will come with protection.So, prepare to cross swords with a small troupe of baddies!
It is worth noting that you don’t have to kill the Tha’abeen.you may, if you like, choose to pickpocket them to obtain their shard.However, they are always on extremely high alert, so this is considerably more difficult than just introducing their backs to your knife.
Every Harbiya Mysterious Shard
Quadrangle Of The Persians
This individual will travel around the area near the Damascus Gate Prison.Head south of the Prison and intercept them.
Khuld
This individual will be found hovering around thearea near the Prince’s Palace on the east end of Harbiya.They will even enter the palace on occasion. We’d recommend hitting them when they are south of it, though.
Every Abbasiyah Mysterious Shard
Yasiryah
This lady travels in the Yasiryah section of Abbasiyah, which is on the north end of that region.They wander all the way from the House of Wisdom to the Observatory.She’s completely unguarded, so you won’t have any trouble taking her out.
Haylanah
This Tha’abeen is found wanderingthe area around the Pharmacy of Hatlanah, south of the Hammam bathhouse.They travel by themselves and are easily ambushed.
Every Karkh Mysterious Shard
Fief Of Rayasanah
You will find a woman wandering around the northern section of Karkh, in the Fief of Rayasanah district.She’ll walk right past the south of the Qadi District Office.She has one of the Mysterious Shards. Take her out!
Tabik
On the southern end of Karkh, in the Tabik district, you will find this gentleman lurking. We don’t know if it was just our game, but this gentleman was particularly drawn to the area near the Gate of the Mills. He is another one who has a guard accompany him, but just the one.
Every Round City Mysterious Shard
Residential District
You will find this gentleman wandering around the southern portion of the Round City. He spends a lot of time in the Resident District. He is accompanied by multiple guards.He will pass right past the Basra Gate and even the viewpoint south of Harem.
Administrative District
There is another one who likes to stomp around the Round City. However, they are found in the northern section. They hang out in the Administrative District.They will circle the Postal Bureau building.Like his comrade in the Residential District, he is also accompanied by guards. That’s a good place to intercept them,
Every Wilderness Mysterious Shard
Anbar
This carrier of the shard will circle the western end of Anbar.He will travel straight through to the center of Anbar, before making a turn and traveling south, leaving the city itself and dipping into the wild proper. They are guarded by two of the spear-wielding soldiers. So, approach this one with caution.
Jarjaraya
This Tha’abeen will be wandering around Jarjaraya, which is southeast of Karkh.He is often found east of the city itself, on the road that runs alongside it, which is a great place to ambush him. However, be warned, he will be protected by two heavily armored soldiers.
