While playingHonkai: Star Railand using your Stellar Jades on various Gacha banners, you have a chance of getting both four-star and five-star characters. You also have a higher chance of getting some of these characters since they’re featured on the banner and have a boost of drop rate.
Guinaifen is one of the featured four-star characters in the second half of the Version 1.4 update. Once this update ends, she’ll also get added to the general roster, which means you can get her at any point, and here’s everything you need to level her up.
Guinaifen Ascension Materials
While leveling a character up, you’ll realize that you need to ascend them multiple times since the level gets capped frequently. Themaximum level you can achieve with Guinaifen is 80, and here’s everything you’ll need for all her ascensions to reach that level:

50x Searing Steel Blade

You can get the Artifex mob drops from various Entranced Ingenia enemies scattered around the Xianzhou Luofu. These enemies are small,but they’re great atapplying various debuffs to your party. Moreover, the Searing Steel Blade can be acquired from the Shape of Scorch Stagnant Shadow in the Great Mine area of Jarilo-VI.
Guinaifen Trace Materials
Getting Guinaifen to level 80 isn’t nearly enough to get the full value out of her. Traces are one of the important parts of a character’s kit, and it’s essential to level them up. The Basic Attack can only be upgraded to level six,while the other three traces can be taken up to level ten, and here are the materials you’ll need for it:

You’ll needthree times the amount of materials mentioned aboveto upgrade all three of Guinaifen’s traces apart from the Basic Attack.
Keep in mind that Guinaifen’s traces will have some smaller nodes andthree Bonus Abilities apart from the four main abilities as well. Depending on their unlock requirements, these nodes will also take quite a bit of materials to upgrade.
