Where To Forage For Strawberries

There are many places to forage for strawberries in the world, but the easiest one is right inWillow Creek.

Simply go to theDaisy Hovel starter homethen walk to the back of the lotdown the path on the right-hand sideof the house. Turnright at the t-junctionand walk past the BFF lot. Just ahead is asmall community garden with four planters. A strawberry plant is in the planter marked in the image above and should give yousix strawberries.

Where To Buy Strawberries

Where you can get strawberries will depend on the DLC that you own. If you haveHorse Ranchthen the easiest way to purchase Strawberries is toclick on a nectar maker and select Purchase Basic Ingredients.This will bring up a menu enabling you to buy apples, grapes, lemons, potatoes and strawberries which will gostraight into your inventory. Strawberries purchased this waycost $44 each.

For those withCottage Living,you can get a variety of produce delivered from thegrocery delivery service. This is done through your Sim’s phone where it cost$20 per order to get groceries delivered.There is a wide range of products which includesstrawberries priced at $48.

Alternatively, take a trip toThe Gnome’s Arms in Henford-On-Bagleyand you can purchase strawberries for the regularprice of $44each from theGrocery Stall just outside.

If you haveSeasons, then atlevel four gardening skillyou can purchaseSeasonal Spring Plants and Fruits for $100a packet. You will get3 - 4 plants or fruits that are harvestable in the Spring. Strawberries are one of the more common items, but it can still taketwo or three packets to get some, making this an expensive option.

How To Grow Strawberries

All you need to grow strawberries is one strawberry. The easiest and cheapest way to get one is toforage in Willow Creek. Once you have the strawberry you need to find either apatch of soil outsideor purchase agarden pot for $50which holds one plant, or agarden planter for $200which holds four.

If you have Seasons,Strawberries will only grow in Spring, unless they have a roof above them,which gives them a sheltered tag.

Youdon’t need wallsas you’re able to place a roof on a room and thenremove the walls or swap them for fences and posts.

To plant a strawberry simplydrag it from your inventoryand thenplace it into the pot or onto the ground. If the area is suitable for planting you can select the strawberry to seethe options to eat strawberry or plant.Assuming you don’t select eat by accident, your Sim willplant the strawberry and a pile of soil will appearin its place. You may then need to select it again for them towater it.

Strawberries takejust over 5 days to grow and yield six per harvest.Over that time you’ll need tocheck them each dayin case they need to be watered, weeded, or sprayed for bugs.

You can alsofertilize plantswith manure, fish, or even other plants. This will help them reach a higher quality faster, Plants can thenbe evolvedfrom normal to nice, excellent, magnificent and eventually perfect.Higher quality plants produce higher quality producewhich can be sold for more. However,quality does not change how often a plant can be harvested.
