Spider-Man 2is about the small stories as much as it is the big ones. It’s not just about taking down bad guys, but also about the paths Peter Parker and Miles Morales walk down. The Just Let Go Trophy, which seesMiles find the old science fair trophy he won with Phin, typifies this importance the game places on character. It’s also one of the hardest Trophies to find in the game, so let’s get to finding it.

If you intimately remember Spider-Man: Miles Morales, then you might have an inkling. However, it’s not at the hotel where you and Phin first take the trophy from the time capsule, nor is it at Miles’ place, at Roxxon, or the museum you visit in Miles Morales. Instead, the answer lies in the very last scene of Miles’ spin-off.

Updated Jul 27, 2025:We’ve added a video version of this guide to help you track down this hard-to-find trophy.

Where Is Phin’s Science Fair Trophy

At the end of Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Miles laments what happened to Phin as he looks out over the city. Hestands on the edge of a cathedral, and leaves the science fair trophy there as a memory. Despite New York getting fairly blustery and all the rampaging monsters that rage through it, the science fair trophy remains there. It’sin the Financial District, as the screenshot below shows.

Once you reach the cathedral, you shouldclimb up the central part of the buildingand headtowards the steeple. Youmust be playing as Milesat this point in order for the Trophy to count, although it is possible to find the science fair trophy itself as Peter. Once you’re there, climb up the spire and find the trophy (which unlocks your Trophy) at the top.

Be careful, as this is not placed right at the top of the spire - this is obviously a silly place to store a small cube - but insteadon the small platform near the top of the spire. Because Miles runs so quickly, it can be tricky to land there rather than skid over it at full speed.Slow down and crawl or jumpto get onto the ledge, rather than sprinting for it.

Even if you played Spider-Man: Miles Morales and remembered the ending, this church can still be difficult to find. Although you visit it twice in the game, the first is to start a mission completely unconnected to the science fair trophy, and the second is automatic at the end of a flurry of cutscenes as the game ends.

Miles asks to meet Phin at the church when they discover each others' secret identities, and chooses it because of a concert they both went to together when they were younger. In leaving the award in tribute to her at a place that meant a lot to him, Miles underlines that he sympathised with Phin’s cause, and hopes to continue making the city a better place.

It’s a nice touch that the sequel keeps that connection going, even as it mostly builds on Peter’s first game. Speaking of,Peter has a matching version of this Trophythat involvesvisiting Aunt May’s grave, which you can find here.
