With so many adorable customization options inFae Farm, it’s up to you how you want your mystical Homestead to look! Except, when you first arrive in Azoria, you won’t know very many ways to spruce up your place. You can buy a few items from vendors around town, but you’ll primarily be making your own.
An unfortunate storm sent a merchant’s recipes scattered throughout the world, which she refers to as Scattered Scrolls. For each Scattered Scroll you pick up, you’ll earn a new recipe for a decorative item in Fae Farm, so here’s where to find them all.
Updated on July 07, 2025:With both DLC packs, Coasts of Croakia and Skies of Azoria, both adding new decor to Fae Farm, we’re back to update our Scattered Scrolls location guide to include the new items, as well as a few from the base game we’d missed before. We’ve also separated our guide out a bit more by neighborhing locations, to help you find what you’re looking for quicker.
What Are Scattered Scrolls?
On yoursecond dayin Azoria, during the tutorial sections of Fae Farm, you’ll receive a fewletters in your mailbox, located just outside your front door. One of the letters will inform you about a windstorm that blewScattered Scrollsall over the land. Unfortunately for the sender, these Scrolls containeddozens of different furniture, wallpaper, and flooring recipes.
They tell you that what you find is yours to keep, and so begins your hunt for Scattered Scrolls in Fae Farm. These scrolls appear in the world asrolled-up paper with a green ribbon, and they’ll sit out and about invarious spots around Azoriasomewhat like forageable items, waiting to be picked up.
Upon picking one up, your farmer willhold an icon over their head of what the item isthat they’ve just unlocked, and it’ll beadded to your Construction panel and Almanacfor immediate construction back at the Homestead. Just beware thatseveral of the Scattered Scrolls can be tough to find, hidden behind walls or poles, out of clear sight.
A good way to get around this is topay attention when your farmer can “investigate” something you can’t see- it’s probably a Scattered Scroll!

Below, we’re keeping track of every Scattered Scroll in Fae Farm as we’ve found them. We’ve broken up the tables by location, and have grouped nearby locations together for sake of ease. You’ll find a wide number of scrolls when you first begin a new save, but mind that it’s easy to run past them without realizing!
By Earline’s house, just up past her.
