You do manage to take refuge in an abandoned apartment, though. It’s a great place to stay safe, except there isn’t any power. This is particularly problematic in the tech-heavy Cyberpunk world. So, you need to get the electricity flowing again, and here is how you do that.
Where To Find The Generator
The whole apartment ispowered by a generator that you need to turn on, but you mustfind it first.Thankfully, the apartment isn’t very big. Apart from the main room, there is only three others, including a small bathroom.
The generator is in one of the two big rooms. So,from the entrance to the apartment, take a right and then another right to locate the generator. You will findJohnny standing next to it.

How To Power Up The Generator
When you find the generator, scan it and try to turn it on.It won’t come on, but the action does initiate more conversation with Johnny. So,finish the discussion with himand thentake a look at the battery case to the right of the generator.
You may notice that it only has three working batteries and is missing a fourth. Therefore, your next objective is to find a new battery.

Where To Find The Battery
To locate the battery, head back into the main room. Near the apartment entrance, you will find a table filled with a bunch of broken drones. They’renext to the pillar in the middle of the room.
Scan them to discover that one contains a working battery. You need toremove it and take it back to the generator.

Put it into the battery case and then interact with the generator againto light the place up. Now, your makeshift hideout has electricity.
